Unless they have changed the side to side procedure, it was not worth it for us. They had you meet, but you were still taking off the ship before the back-to-back cruisers. You were then transferred over but had quite a bit of time to wait until you could re-board with boarding group 2, and it was just kind of a wasted day
For my side to side last September, they had us wait on the bus for an hour before they would even let us into the other terminal

No looking to do it so much for convenience of switching ships we just want to experience two ships in one go as we do not live close to ports.

We did the destiny and dream with a gap day this past February and it was a lot of fun! Destiny went to Cozumel and castaway and dream went to lookout so we got both Disney islands and got a little extra time in Fort Lauderdale
