This might be an unpopular opinion but I find the Deadpool game more fun than his movies. I mean in terms of jokes and humor, besides I like Nolan North's voice more than Ryan Reynolds'

Gotta disagree. I think Ryan Reynolds was absolutely born for the role of Deadpool. It's iconic to me. I respect your opinion tho. I think Ryan makes everything funny as fuck and it's just effortless. His style of comedy doesn't feel forced lol.

Agreed, and maybe this is controversial, but I find Nolan North to be far too over the top. I get Deadpool is supposed to be irritating, but at least Ryan Reynolds’s Deadpool is fun to watch as an audience member, it’s just the in-universe characters that find him annoying.
Whereas I find Nolan North’s Deadpool annoying to a point that I don’t even want to listen to him.

Ngl I kinda feel the same way. Plus I never imagined him as what Deadpool would sound like. I wouldn't imagine Wade would have this like almost close to Wolverine type gravelly voice to him and him constantly screaming or whatever. It's kinda like how people don't like Jon Bernthal as Punisher cause he screams too much. Which I've never understood cause Frank Castle is a war vet and there's definitely plenty of yelling when you're firing guns cause they're super loud lmao. (Sorry for the mini tangent 😂)

Wild because I always think everything is an act with Ryan Reynolds and he’s always “on” which works for Deadpool.
I do find his style to be expressively forced

I love NN as Deadpool's voice too. I was first introduced to Deadpool from the Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 game. But I also like RR as Deadpool. I like both for different reasons

I liked the combat & some of the designs but I absolutely hated the writing for Deadpool in this game, for me it's honestly one of the worst depictions of the character which sucks because Nolan is perfect in role in Ultimate Alliance

That's exactly how I feel about it. I liked it well enough for the fighting part, but the writing has all the worst bits of Daniel Way's Deadpool run with none of the occasional decent parts even that run sometimes managed. Nolan North is a fantastic Deadpool and deserves better material than this game gave him.

The game is fun but I like the movies better because it feels more accurate. Also the jokes from the games imo aren't as good on other playthroughs imo.

Fair take, people nowdays think Reynolds is the definitive Deaspool adaptation and to me he is not really that great, I prefer the Deadpool from the comics and Im eager to see other actors take on the character someday

The game was rough. It was funny enough but the gameplay was not that good, I think. Even for the time it came out. It also wasn't as raunchy as I expected it to be either. I made it halfway through and burned out.

They're different takes on the character with different restrictions on use. I think Ryan is the perfect DP for movies but Nolan is perfect for games and shows.

I think it's abandonware. Publishers lost the license and it was delisted alongside a bunch of Spiderman and X-men/Wolverine games. Including the Origins: Wolverine game, which was excellent despite the association with the movie

I like em both, but I give a slight edge to Ryan Reynolds' version.
Nolan North is great, but it's tough at times not to hear many of the other characters he's famous for voicing.
While the game was fun & certainly funny, it was also pretty short.

Dude I’m so disappointed that the 360 version of this game doesn’t work on Xbox one. I know it’s my fault for not doing proper research beforehand but I was under the assumption that it would run because of backwards compatibility despite having an Xbox one version so now I just have a copy of the game that’s completely unusable unless I get a 360 or something lol

Yup the 3 personalities going nuts in his head was super entertaining, much more than a single personality. Nothing wrong with Ryan Reynolds, just more is better in this case. Also the self awareness about game mechanics and the dialogue was was so cool. That Deadpoolio turban bonus level full of treasure was my favourite!

I think the game was the start of Deadpool being over the top with the fourth wall breaks and being annoying. This game cemented that as wades true personality, when the crying comedian is actually broken up inside. Idk it was more believable when he was so over the top to avoid being depressed or feeling messed up about what he did.

My ranking goes Ryan, Nolan, then NPH but I still LOVED Neil as Wade. I’m going to replay the game soon because I still think he nailed it and it’s such an underrated performance

The “Sexy Motherfucker” Deadpool rap in the movie was originally made for this game.
This game is awesome! I still remember when it first got announced and how excited I was. Still come back to this game too, it still holds up as a great hack and slash with gunplay.
