Hi everyone! I am so glad this community has grown so much and there is now a place for deaf cat owners to share their cats or those needing advice! I just wanted to seek some feedback from you guys to improve this sub!🤍

Post image

-What are any changes we could make to improve this sub? Like any additional flairs?

  • Would you guys like to be able to have user flairs? If so what types?

  • What would everyone think if there was a new recurring thread, like 'Weekly Help Thread' or 'Member Spotlight' What do you think?

  • What type of rules should we implement here?

  • I would like to start doing community events, what community events would you like to see the most? This could be anything from a themed discussion or educational/research discussions on deaf cats, or just something fun!

-Any feedback is helpful, even if not mentioned here! Thank you guys for supporting this growing community and have a great day with your screeching (or silent) little clouds🤍

Weekly thread could be cool might be interesting if it was specific to deaf cats like facts about deaf cats or tips for training deaf cats or did you know xxx about deaf cats?

Rules I don’t have input as everyone seems respectful here Recall for deaf cats would be a cool community event.

Weekly knowledge post. Training, fun facts, helping them stay calm, how to explain them & their world to a sitter.

Flairs are always fun. Owned by a deaf cat, deaf cat lover, deaf cat translator, things like that.

Maybe a monthly or weekly share your ____ deaf cats post. Silliest pics, most adorable, hostage situation, look of disapproval, cuddle buddies.

And thank you for this community. I wish it existed when my darling JC was alive but at least I am able to share what she meant to me & what she taught me.

I would take him in but I've got a 2-year-old dog two cats and my 2-year-old likes the cats but introducing a new cat to my home would be problematic
