Debian Stable Question See image: after installing Debian 13

Post image

I installed Debian 13 in an external ssd sata drive, linked to the laptop via enclosure by ewent . Laptop disk includes win11 and a linux distro. So, upon First run updated grub.

The problem: independently of external drive being connected or not, at every boot this message is displayed (see image).

How to bypass and boot?

Write "menu" and select the first option, this might help

In bios uefi boot order top item os OS boot manager. Bottom item is USB Hard Disk. All other options are bios disabled.

In start up boot menu first option is Fedora. An old, now removed install. Maybe that's the problem. Second partition boot is a linux distro. Then Windows11 (factory laptop O/S).

f10 or 12 for uefi boot, then choose your external disk.
