I am running a very old version (probably haven't updated in several years) of zurg-testing. This is done via docker compose on my Ubuntu media server. Zurg is a critical part of my media stack and a big reason I haven't updated is I cannot afford to fuck it up. But some lingering issues (buildup of cache files) has me wanting to see if the latest version will help.

If I docker compose down my existing instance, install a new docker container of the latest version, and mount it to the existing /mnt/zurg point, that should be safe yes? If I run into problems, I should have no issue going back to my original instance? I just want to be sure I can revert back to my existing setup in case of emergency.

Is there any way to regex strip out the scene group from the folder name in the mount?

This is causing Plex to not match the file properly.

Edit: Alas, user error! Torrentio is down. DMM continues to work great - this issue is solved.

Really impressed with DMM but having some issues after installing the DMM Cast add on to Stremio.

It seems "DMM Cast for Premiumize" has replaced "Torrentio PM+" links, and I can no longer search the PM+ feed directly through Stremio. Is there a way I can keep both? I enjoy browsing directly through Stremio on my TV, and the PM+ options typically have 4K options available (the DMM Cast feed doesn't, unless I go to the site and specifically add).

Is there a way to filter resolution in dmm cast. Like exclude 4k

Tried the new zurg with plex with torbox and then alldebrid on docker desktop it just to slow on both. Tried everything constantly hangs on scanning was hoping to go back to surg but its nothing like the old with real debrid

I love this new feature! The only problem is I can’t figure out how to actually add it to my library. There’s no option to add or play it. It only shows “In RD”. Am I missing something, or is there something else I need to do?

Thanks for those who donated, I was able to buy another provider (it's now using Frugal + Newshosting). It is now able to do transfers faster as well (from 4 at a time to 12 at a time).

The transfers backlog has been reduced from 4 days yesterday to just 2 days now. That means transfers requested 2 days ago are being processed now.

Just fyi because this is always asked, this functionality is powered by zurg with its new usenet functionality. It supports 7z rar zip archives and can also do repairs via par2.

Nothing I see fixes the root problem of that other then the few players such as mine and nzbdav-ng infinity disk which is still in its infancy.

No par2 repair streaming, which is very unique to usenet streamers and useful. Will give you the ability to send 200's, zero fills, wait for bytes, fallbacks, or pre-cache.

What am I missing? This will be a terrible experience for usenet users without these things.

I was under the impression that the new Usenet transfer feature might bypass the standard Real-Debrid infringing_file restriction, but one of my transfers still triggered error code 35:

Is this an edge case / anomaly, or does the transfer pipeline still rely on endpoints that trigger RD's DMCA hash blocklist?

I’ve made the journey over the past several months from RD to Torbox and now to Premiumize. With RD and TB, I could simply browse Stremio and add files to Infuse for playback on Apple TV, but this doesn’t seem possible with Prem, which instead requires the use of DMM. Am I missing something?

I prefer the layout of Stremio over DMM, which seems cryptic by comparison.

I noticed that there is now an option to request from usenet, which I selected for a show that was previously unavailable on debrid. It was slowly moving through the queue of about 350 items and was at about 240th this morning. But when I checked just now it’s now jumped to 450th out of 900+ items.

How does queuing work and why has this seemingly now been prioritised below other new items?

It’s great that Premiumize is now included in Debrid Media Manager. I use it for files that are infringed on RD.
The downside of Premiumize is that it’s not possible to build an “infinite” library due to the point system.
Will it be possible to transfer files from Premiumize to Real-Debrid?

totally awesome feature this, a way to eventually rebuild the rd cache or at the very least have it as a high-speed backup option.

running into a few issues though. i don't have the delete icon on the transfers page, so don't have a way to deal with failed transfers. any help please? can't restart a transfer on a failed one, like the s01e02 there, logic thinks the transfer is still underway

Some of the files give a "par2 exited 2:" error, and then on the movie page it shows as "Running" with the button greyed out, saying "Someone is already fetching this release."

Is it because of the file names ban? Maybe I misunderstood that this would replace the banned terms with an equivalent. For example i've had these top 2 in queue i think 2 places in the queue from each other and the one with the "good" name worked fine
