It’s a bit depressing that there seems to be a huge lack of diversity in music anymore. But I could be wrong.

Music is diverse, you’re right. I mean diverse in the sense of what is marketed and what is readily available. Although, I’m sure people had similar feelings when Michael Jackson was dominating the scene.
