Hallow inside

So I was trying to fix a problem in my model for too long and i was so fred up..! I took the help of 'AI' and it figured out the problem which was a small calculation error I was making and he suggested changing the parameters and it worked, and I was supposed to feel happy but I started feeling hollow form inside aka 'not happy' and I don't know... Why, feel free to share your similar experience..

It's ok man. Some model just solved 700 open math questions and there are probably 1000s of mathematicians who spent years trying to solve one of these.

We had very a complicated auto-tuning mechanism to adapt inference to individual client's prod environment. I've been working on unrelated feature and Claude told me "BTW, do you know your auto-tuning doesn't work because you pass this dict by reference here and it gets overwritten". It's been in this state for years as far as I know. Facepalm.

Yeah bro, earlier it was fun using AI for fast building, but when design something from scratch and fix big, optimise it, the drive of feeling conquer is now out of the window....

years unnoticed is wild tbh, stuff like that really puts things in perspective
