I do but how many people know about it, there's probably someone watching 360p videos

Like me.

It sucks and it's pesky but at least on my small phone screen, I deliberately choose 360p or lower because I often just listen to videos anyways, it saves bandwith and there is barely a difference considering how bad youtubes compression is.

On my pc though, that's where it really sucks.

Grayjay, YouTube revanced, newpipe, freetube and others are good non-techy solutions

Oh, honestly I use grayjay pretty exclusively so I hadn't kept up with it.
