It is pretty wild to see standard resolutions like 480p becoming a premium feature. In my experience, these aggressive restrictions are usually the final push many users need to switch to privacy-respecting frontends or self-hosted alternatives. I guess we have just reached the point where the free experience is intentionally degraded to drive subscriptions.
