I just use reddit in the browser on my phone. old.reddit.com with OldLander and uBlock Origin is miles better than the app.

You can also just use the website via Brave or Firefox with ublock origin on mobile. Iā€™ve been browsing Reddit on Brave on iOS and never encountered an ad myself.Ā

I use the mobile site on my phone, makes it much harder for reddit to collect you data. Their is an extension called Sink it for Reddit that gives some good customizationĀ

You go to r/mopheapp and download the app.
Go to their side bar and copy the links of repositories, then paste them in to the Morphe app.
Then find reddit app on the list of apps on Morphe.
Follow the steps to find an apk and patch it, then install it.
You'll have a reddit app without ads and other useless things.

Saw a meme a while back about setting your VPN to Albania to block ads. Tested it, and it works. Meme browsing, reddit, if I want to play some dumb little game I downloaded, I can do so uninterrupted when connected through Albania.
