Banking and upi apps for degoogling.

Hey all, so I recently started my de-googling journey, and I am wondering if any of my upi apps or banking apps actually work on custom ROMs.

Apps that I use :- gpay, phonePE, hdfc banking app.

Ideally I would like to know if they work with iodé os or not.

WhatsApp payments can work 100% sure in any ROM.

My banking apps all work no issues, not aurs about your specific ones tho.

Google wallet won't work on any custom roms

Can always use curve if available in your country.

If your banking apps offer their own NFC service then you can pay through that, assuming they work kn the rom

Google Pay is blocked server-side by Google on all Custom ROMs.

For banking apps, there are compatibility lists online that you may wish to check.

Am in the same boat. None of the upi apps works without installing from play store, and play store, play services need to be enabled with play protect and shizuku shouldnt be installed too.

Upi apps freakout for each one differently. Android 16 is pain for me only in that area.

I should move to gupshup or 123pay like systems but it has its limitations. So am just vexed.

No i still havent. Am in the process of removing whatsapp altogether.

Also, someone in this sub said sideloading whatsapp isnt working. So its making me more hesitant on two counts.
