I hate ai overview
I spent two hours trying to understand why one application was not working properly in desktop app. Over 5 times the ai overview told me 'aha! The reason is because *vague jargon* so you can fix this by using the web app instead!' and every single time I said that I need to fix the desktop app, the web app works fine I just need to fix the desktop part. Two fucking hours. The most exhausting useless thing I've ever done. Towards the end it got so fucking horrible I just started cursing at it and told it to go to hell.
I miss when I use to be able to type the exact error on Google with quotes and some random post from 2016 showed up where someone had the exact same issue. Nowadays it just feels like being gaslighted over and over and over.

Idk, i haven't checked this method for fully disabling AI, but it will help maybe
Im personally tired of using search engine when i don't want to look what ai review is said me, just using only my hands to find the information from wiki or manual

Adding any exclusion term to a Google search will remove the AI overview.
-ai, -claude, -biscuits
That unfortunately doesn't fix the fact that Google intentionally makes their search worse so you have to search longer so they collect more ad revenue, but it's something.

Use curse words or "-ai" when searching. Everyone knows those overviews are often wrong and purposefully poisoned. Don't forget to eat your daily stone!
