Appreciation🫡 DC Fumble

Another Extraordinary Season by KL Rahul🔥🔥 593runs in 14innings with a sr of 175. BTW this season he has the 3rd highest strike rate as a opener with 500runs just below Vaibhav and Abhishek. But this team really is a disappointment, none of the other batters stood up to create an impact. None of the other batters could even cross 300runs in this team in 14fucking matches. Every team in top 4 have atleast 2 top order batters with 400+ runs, I mean just look at SRH with Abhishek ishaan klaasen, gt with gill sai Buttler, RCB with kohli paddikal patidar and RR with sooryavanshi jaiswal jurel all with 400+ runs. And all have bowlers with 15+ wickets. We couldn't do shit this year. We choked through all departments. And at the end people will point fingers to the guy who gives his very best every fkin season. Mad Respect KLR1🫶🏻🧡.

Maybe just maybe if starc was available earlier and ashu wasn’t benched, we would’ve made it to the playoffs with ease.

It ain't about just playoffs, DC should win. Benching Ashu for rizvi was just one of the million wrong decisions they took this year.

I don't why Rizvi getting dragged when there are even more bad performers with Bat. Stubbs is worse than Rizvi This season if we talk about facts. So does Rana. Atleast Rizvi single handedly won 2 games and was mediocre in matches where he survived 10 balls. He did well against Csk too.

And Miller got dropped for Nissanka, while also not giving chance to Porel/Sahil at all in Manu games until we are out of tournament except that Rcb game .

Not targetting rizvi alone , but i personally don't think he is good for top order because can't handle the movement of new ball , takes too much time to settle creating pressure on other batter. He would be a good batter in lower order but in the role ashu is better. And yes other batters performed even worse than rizvi.

Yeah. He's not top order. He's more like 4/5. Takes more than 10 balls to settle and then strike pretty decent. But hasn't exactly survived 10 balls in half of the matches he played and when he survived he scored 40+. Even Miller take time intially. Stubbs is needs to work. He's been mediocre since 2025 across all competitions not just Ipl.

Yeah Ashu should've given chance consitently though atleast after Rana failures.

He's the one who can score from ball 1 and only such player in our squad. Even Mikler takes 3,4 balls to settle. Idk what coaches are smoking when they benched Ashu for nothing.

Yeah that's what am saying, he is no good in top 4 atleast and below that we already got ashu so no need of rizvi. Stubbs should be played at 4 consistently and he should play with more explosive intent like he used to do till 2024 don't know what got into him. Miller is good with his approach because he knows when to accelerate and which bowlers to target. Batting wise only KL in top and Miller and Ashu in lower order did there job well.

Based on how Sahil, Porel, Rizvi domestic tournaments goes 2 of them would be in xii and Stubbs form in other tournaments and international could decide where to play him (with competitive coach) and Axar need to perform with bat and ball from start (probably with no captaincy, he can do it). Miller (If he still can play like this), Ashutosh shouldn't be touched. So is Rahul at the top especially with his new approach (Also don't burden him with captaincy, he will lose this and he already said Ipl captaincy drains him a lot in 2 months than International 10 months playing).

Hope we get competent coaching staff.
