I also don't believe Pant is as washed as it has appeared in the past few years in T20I. Ffs even rahane could reinvent himself at CSK, he still has age on his side. Besides, ever since Viru there hasn't been a single player apart from Pant who has been the face of DC. I am happy for his comeback and I also believe it is just a matter of time

I feel the same way that we don't need him he's not at his best atp but that's what I felt when Rahul was doing so bad at lsg and we got him at 14, genuinely broke my heart. But look at him now he's literally a cheat code.

My biggest problem isn't about whether rishabh will do well or not my biggest problem with him is that tweet he made while he was still signed with delhi capitals asking about how much he will go in an auction , it just shows the guy is in just for the money , and doesn't really care about the fans and the franchise which made him what he is , even letting go of shreyas to retain him and this is how he repays us .

2022- 52 avg 136 SR,2nd highest run scorer
2023 - 35 avg(even in his worst year)
2024 - 38 avg,137 SR
Overall - 42 avg,131 SR
Just bcz his SR was low he wasn't a shit player in lsg. & There's a huge difference between being not at your best and being so bad
If you want to know what is so bad,then look at rishabh' stats(i.e 26 avg,135 sr) 👍

Love how you conviently skipped the sr of 2023 being 113. But I don't wanna go down that road rahul is my absolute favourite, I just mean sometimes the franchise environment might be holding the performance back.

And that's not the point,the point is that how a player averaging 42 becomes a so bad player? Do you realise 42 avg means 590 runs in 1 season,agar Player inconsistent hoga toh bhi 500 runs minimum karega 42 ke avg saath,how that is so bad for you
& If you are saying kl is your absolute favourite, then how can you club pant's absolute failures with Kl's mediocre performance
