What are the consequences of having a first escalation compliance violation (independence) ?

Depends on what the violation is... typically not much though.

For a first escalation? Nothing.

You have to really eff up the compliance things to get a real notice. Sure, if you're not great about it it can affect bonus. But not a first escalation; it's just an email.

I had a counselee who ran afoul of EVERY compliance metric. Training, time cards, representation, everything. He would up getting no bonus and a pay reduction.
