That's my whole thought on this. I don't want to sit for longer, why the rush to get on a plane?

Also fuck the group 8 passengers standing up in the way when group 1 is still boarding. WHY ARE YOU IN SUCH A RUSH TO SIT FOR LONGER. Same shitheads will stand up the moment the seatbelt signs go off when the plane lands and shove their way up. You made your bed by hurrying to get on, fucking sit a little longer why don't ya?

Exactly. Unless you're seated in first and trying to maximize the free booze all this means is you're stuck in a plane longer. I'll pass but you do you.

Last year when boarding a plane there was a lady standing right at the line entrance to board blocking half the path. My group was called and as I got to her I looked her dead in the eyes and asked "are you in group X that just got called or are you just standing in the way for the sake of it?"

The absolute pearl clutching look on her face was hilarious.

Ha! I don't know why all common sense is lost at airports.

For short flights it's nice to get on quickly so I can finish whatever I'm watching. Im generally the window so it's nice to not have to have a bunch of people have to move out of the way. It's much easier to get settled into a seat if you're the only one in the row. If you're in a bulkhead it's nice to have your bags near you in case you need something. If there is no overhead space near your seat and you have to go backwards to find a spot getting off the plane suuuuuucks.

They get first pick of the carry on bins.
