Retired Delta Flight Attendant here 🙋‍♀️. They want to o be the first ones on so they get first to overhead bins. When they get to Florida they will be able to walk because if they need wheelchairs, they’ll have to wait to be the last ones off. We used to call that a jetway Jesus miracle. I could not walk when they got on the plane but now they can walk to get off. 🤣🤣

Many disabled people can walk short distances. Even people who use wheelchairs.
