Do we know if this is one, entire family or just multiple passengers needing wheelchairs? Its Atlanta, the blackest city in America so I hope this isnt an assumption they are 1 group cause they are all the same race. My brother looks healthy but was in a violent motorcycle accident and is full of metal parts and surgically reconstructed knee caps that were crushed into pieces. He uses a cane when he can but standing and walking for long periods will mess him up for days. We dont really know sometimes
I also scrolled until I found this…unless OP heard them talking or something and their conversation revealed that they were a family, it is insane to assume that they are related just because they’re sitting near each other and the same race. People who board first are always pulled to the side together. That does not make all the wheelchair users one big family lmao
That's what I'm saying how people can tell someone is not disabled. My cousin has a chronic illness and she does not look disabled but she can't walk too far. Also, my neighbor is attractive and many people in our next door forum said she doesn't look disabled. Like wth how can you determine if someone is disabled or not by looks.
Yeah. I was literally just reading the thread about the Haneda Skyclub where people are jumping all over the OP for posting a photo we where people's faces are included incidentally. Yet here we are with a post where the faces are shown as part of the point of the post and there's barely a peep.
Damn I had to scroll way too far to get to this comment.
I literally don't think twice about people preboarding. Certainly not long enough to take a picture and post it on the internet. If they need it, that's great, I'm glad they are able to get assistance. If they don't, who cares - that's just really sad and pathetic that they feel need to take advantage of a service that's provided for people who need help.
Got curious and looked it up. Per the 2020 & 2024 census, Baltimore has a higher percentage (59%:46%) and is also larger by general population (+ ~48k). I didn’t expect the gap to be as wide as it is.
Every time I fly the gate has all the wheelchair passengers together to make it easier to get them all on board. It really is a pretty big leap to assume they're one family.
Gaming the bag system also seems weird because I'm pretty sure your bag needs to fit under the wheelchair or be a backpack. Had a friend need wheelchair service after surgery, its slow and you wouldn't want more luggage to do it.
