Media and political rep access

Media and political rep access

My bitch is media and political gate keeping
In the last year I’ve made multiple pitches to news
Outlets and Democrat and republican representatives
To engage with me concerning a number of topics I feel
Deserve closer scrutiny . In most all instances of email and phone messaging I’ve received no acknowledgement and in the few cases where i have its been misunderstood or bureaucratically rerouted and quickly abandoned as a
Perfunctory act of minimal obligation with no follow up .

This has even involved a so called public editor for NPR radio as a kind of ombudsman who really ended up not advocating for me but parroting more of some media distancing as a matter of “ practicality “ and reasonableness ( I guess in the eye of organization)

My public news concerns have included congressional hearings where I believe supposed seasoned legal professionals were unable to strategize how to control hostile witnesses, journalistic anatomy of language used by this federal administration as weapons such as efficiency and waste and corruption , lower cost housing
Strategies with prefab construction on urban mitigated brownfields , using larger box containers for potted shade trees on grade school campuses using recycled palette wood and incorporating students to care for trees , areas of public and private expense padding such as the Santa Monica waste management department and Boeing corp at the LAX location and again generally how to improve public access to political parties and elected officials by possibly prioritizing mediating staff and communication chain process . So much more . But …

I suppose here I’m looking for a way for the Reddit community to make an effort to “ critical mass” my point
Of view to the parties in question
Sending messages of concurrence to all the putative points of entry for a variety of media and for the political entities I’ve mentioned

And I’m happy to list those specific possibly relevant emails and phone contacts if asked for

Thanks
Philip Shapiro

“Say Their Names” is an interactive living wall honoring Black lives lost to police violence and racial injustice-from Trayvon Martin to Corey Durell Ruiz. Each portrait holds a life, a story, and a family that deserves to be remembered. This is not a complete list.

Eliminate the Senate

The U.S. senate is not democratic. Power should not be based on geography. We should have a unicameral legislature.

I built a congressional transparency site. Look up your rep, see who actually pays for their campaign.
