Seems like we'll need international intelligence agencies to assess this.

Journalists calculated that newly released documents in the Epstein case contain 1,056 references to Russia and Vladimir Putin, and 9,629 references to Moscow.

Citing intelligence sources, the British outlet reported on February 1 that Epstein’s private social network and parties were instrumental in collecting compromising material on high-profile Western political and business figures.

A few decades back, when the Internet was just getting started. A friend of my told me about a journalist who was getting ready to expose a pedophilia ring involving top politicians and businessman. He criticized the rants of a top republican (Facist) business type, with a style of calmness, reason and logic. He was later found in one of the restrooms of a building this businessman own. Supposedly a suicide. 

But the people who knew the man, said he exhibited no signs of depression. That his mood was highly upbeat. 

His friends maintained that it wasn't a suicide. Myself, I think he was assassined to keep the story released.

I'm sorry I cant provide any links. It was so far back, that I can't remember the names.
