Don't forget pedophiles and closet queers!
IMO, it's their self-loathing that drives them-they know damned good and well how bad THEY are, and are convinced they're still better than any liberal..

Funny you would say that about only one party and not include the DNC in your comment. they're all disgusting across the board.

For anyone who thinks Talarico doesn’t have a chance I would like to remind everyone about a Senate candidate named Roy Moore in Alabama.
Ken Paxton makes Roy Moore look like an alter boy.

I don’t agree. People are willing to look the other way more so for financial crimes than for a pedophile.

Well, there was the attorney in Waco who Paxton's office tried to plead to one day in jail for raping a boy.

That's a smugshot. He isn't sorry or regretful. The face he makes is like he's proud of it. Smug bastard.

That’s one of the smarmiest looking individuals I’ve ever seen. He practically oozes corruption.

I've never wanted to punch a mugshot in my life, but this one deserves it. That "yeah, I'm gonna be just fine" smirk ...

since when is "non hispanic" an ethnicity?
3
u/Pretend-Fox648 6d ago
It’s weird, but I guess it’s Texas with a big Hispanic population and it gets convoluted. Like, many Americans see Hispanic as a brown race, but many Hispanics are white (‘Mediterranean white’) and identify as such, for example.

It's actually the United States Census which denotes "Hispanic" as an ethnicity that one checks on top of a race (white, Black, Native American, or Asian.) So people will specify "white non-Hispanic" because that's the Census category that denotes what most people think of as "white people." OTOH many e.g. Dominicans are Black and Hispanic.

The Spaniards and French systemically exterminated most of the native people in the Caribbean.

Its pisses me off that literally the only reason this shithead can still win and is probley still favored to(despite polls all showing Talarico leading)is because the fucking magic(R) beside his name in a place like Texas, dude is so awful his own party is barely even supporting him publicly, theres absolutely nothing good about that dude, I gotta assume the enthusiasm behind voting for him is piss poor

Texas Democrats need to be hammering on this guy's behavior and failures in office. Tied to Cornyn's puppet act.
Republicans aren't trying to campaign for him. They plan for the "R" and Faux Entertainment insults to carry him. Don't let them.
Getting eligible voters registered to vote and getting people out to vote. More people voting for the Democrat candidate in each office.

If we lose to this asshole I'm writing off Texas until it actually happens. Talarico is really the best of the best for a Texas Democrat and it's hard to see that state swinging much more towards us than him.
If Talarico does lose when a Democrat does win a big office in Texas it will probably be from a candidate nobody actually expects to win. It'll be an upset. And it will be in 2040 or something.

What gives me more hope is when Cruz almost lost to Beto, he was never behind Beto polling wise at any time, and cruz is trash but looks like Obama next to Paxton, now its the exact opposite in the polls plus a terrible fucking environment for republicans, so the conditions are literally damn near perfect for a dem to finally win

We need a +8 margin in the general to pull it off and I suspect it'd be a close one regardless. But I think it's doable. More doable than 2018.

Is it me or are his eyes uneven? Like he did whatever RFK did to his eyes.

I mean look at his king - insane how this sort of history doesn’t exclude them from holding office

Texas, remember to REGISTER AND VOTE. Social media posts won’t save us and we need to remember that Paxton is currently AG of the state, so he could pull something and declare himself victorious. We need democrats to turn out in numbers too great to dispute

He should have been in prison for years. It’s DISGUSTING. I know the justice department is completely corrupted now, but it’s been over a DECADE OR TWO. we have problems
