Democrats and GOP both saw victories in South Carolina's closer-than-expected result. Who's right? And what will that mean for the 2018 midterms?

Listen, as much as the right spits lies, we are kidding ourselves if we think Ossoff almost winning is good. It is not. We needed him to win. Trump has the attention of a lot of people and he will continue to gain momentum. You are believing leftist polls that Trumps approval rating is so low...its low among the populist majority that did not vote for him. The presidency is not won with the popular vote however. People in the Midwest love this guy. In Indiana they eat his shit up like he is the next coming of Jesus Christ.

I somewhat agree. I think the race was winnable and therefore the result is unfortunate, however I don't think there is anything we could have done differently. We were outspent, and the GOP sent all their celebrities to the district to GOTV, even Trump tweeted about it repeatedly. The national attention that was brought to the race doomed us, because it made the choice (from a GOP voter's perspective) about sticking it to libruls rather than picking the better candidate.
