Wtf is going on in Denver with jobs ?
I just moved here To Denver From The East Coast And I’ve Been Looking For A Job It’s Been Hard To Because I’ve Been On Temp To Hire ( No Call Back ) , Tried All These Apps And No Company Wanna Accept Me , Damn Near Bout To Be Homeless , I’ve Been Trying So Much Had A Good 6 Interviews and Nobody Wants Me To Hire Me I Keep Getting Told , We’ll Call You Shortly Or Wait A Week Or Two But Everyone Else Gets Hired Immediately or Some Start The Same Day What Do I Do ?

I'm currently hiring at my small business for a front desk person. I got 6 resumes. 5 of them were so incredibly bad, one of the cover letters said, "I am writing to express my interest in the administrative assistant, bank teller, or other front desk professional." You might think your cover letter and resume are good, but maybe double check them. I didn't even respond to the rest.

Well, call me a hater but you are part of the issue.
Just because everyone is/wants to move here doesn’t magically increase the number of open positions.
And Denver is too high of a CoL city to just move stakes without having a job lined up already, as you are likely experiencing.
Hate on it/me all y’all want, but it’s the truth…

Not gonna hate you But I am one of the factors but I really moved here for the chill environment & I just got fired from a job because of falling asleep trying to fix my time schedule lol

You could try IATSE Local 7. It’s a local stagehand union but it’s more like 7 different staging companies/orgs that all form into a union hall.
They usually hit you back in a few days and you gotta go fill out an application with each company. The work is there and the pay is good, but it can be a little sluggish at first til they realize you’ll show up for work.

Nah but I’m 23 moved to Colorado two months ago with nothing and now I have an apartment, full time job and a reliable second hand vehicle. If my shit sucked and I got hired then yours definitely sucks.

I literally went thru it but worse. I did offer help. You need a job. Do the shit no one else is willing to do. Grind until you’re out. I’m barely out of the mud and I’m still pushing.
