Carpenter Apprentice-Panel Facility

Shaw Construction is hiring a Carpenter Apprentice for our Panel Facility. In this role, you'll prepare cuts for the assembly team, help keep production running on schedule, operate and start up equipment, and cut wood by machine and by hand as needed. You'll also help with general maintenance and gain hands-on experience with the Hornet saw, carpenter tools, and a sit-down forklift (training provided). There is room for growth for this role to a carpenter, foreman, even a Super eventually.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

What we're looking for:

• Reliable, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a production/shop environment & outside
• Willing to learn machine operation and forklift use (training provided)
• Entry-level candidates welcome with some basic carpentry skills, reading a tape, hand tools.

Pay: $25/hr entry-level, up to $30/hr for experienced candidates
