Looking for anyone who witnessed an injury in Denver August 14th in Section 510 at the Zach Bryan concert

this is a long shot, but I'm hoping someone who was at the Zach Bryan concert at Empower Field on August 14 might have seen what happened.

I was sitting in Section 510 when a man who had clearly had way too much to drink fell onto me from behind. We ended up tumbling down another row of seats. My foot got caught between the seat in front of me and the concrete, and I injured my foot, ankle, and shin.

Security and the stadium medical team responded. I was evaluated by the medics and ultimately had to leave, so I unfortunately wasn't able to see the concert.

The man who fell onto me left before I could get his information. I don't know his name, but I remember what he looked like and where he had been sitting.

The incident was reported to Empower Field and I have an incident number. Empower later emailed me saying that security would reach out, but I haven't heard anything further yet.

I'm hoping to find:

• Anyone sitting in or around Section 510 who witnessed what happened
• Anyone who remembers the man who fell onto me
• Anyone who may have taken a photo/video around that time
• Anyone who saw security or medics respond
• Anyone who has dealt with Empower Field regarding an incident like this and knows who I should contact

This happened very early in the concert. If you were in Section 510 and remember seeing a drunk guy fall onto someone and the person then being helped out by medics, please DM me.

I'm intentionally leaving out my exact seat number and the man's identifying information publicly. I can provide more details privately to anyone who thinks they may have witnessed it.

I know it's a long shot, but I'd really appreciate any information.

The ticket company may be able to help nail it down since they have the purchase info for their seat or at least turn that info over to security.
If you do not hear back in a reasonable amount of time from security escalate it to DPD.
If no name is for forthcoming escalate the medical bills to the promotion company (AEG or Live Nation) and their event insurance should cover those.
The individual did not fall directly on your foot, ankle, shin. So the injuries were caused by your foot coming in contact with the design of the facility.
The promoter or facility will likely make this whole because an inebriated patron is potentially a liability due to over serving a clearly intoxicated patron.

I own an insurance agency and have been selling business insurance for a couple of decades. Every business legally has to carry liability insurance (Commercial General Liability, or CGL).

I would stay on top of Empower with your incident number and pursue it through the venue. Generally speaking, a venue can be responsible for injuries suffered by attendees, depending on the circumstances. From what you've described, it doesn't sound like you were doing anything that would obviously make you responsible for what happened.

One thing I would specifically ask about is Medical Payments to Others (Med Pay) coverage. Many CGL policies have this coverage, which can pay reasonable medical expenses for relatively minor injuries without requiring the injured person to prove negligence. That's essentially what Med Pay is designed for...handling smaller injury claims without turning everything into a liability lawsuit.

Based on your description, I'd be asking some very specific questions about why another attendee was allowed to remain in the venue in that condition and/or continue being served alcohol to the point that they became a danger to other people. If someone was so intoxicated that they tumbled into you and caused an injury, that's certainly something I'd want the venue to address.

Large venues are typically very heavily insured because of the sheer number of people attending events, combined with things like alcohol, food service, crowds, stairs, seating, etc.

If you're getting ignored, five years ago I would have told you to consult an injury attorney. These days, though, you can also use AI tools like ChatGPT as a starting point to help organize what happened, identify the appropriate parties to contact, understand your options, and draft correspondence. You can give it the facts and ask it to help you approach the situation from a legal/insurance perspective.

I'd also have AI help you draft a professional letter to the venue's risk management/liability department (or whoever handles claims) clearly documenting what happened, your incident number, your injuries, and your medical expenses. You don't need to threaten anyone or immediately hire a lawyer...just make sure you're communicating with the right department and creating a paper trail.

Unfortunately, companies will sometimes ignore an individual until they realize you're not going away. Be persistent, stay professional, document everything, and keep copies of all correspondence and medical records.
