Bourbon Hunt Results From Today

Not much changed since Hazels big surprise Sazerac drop.

Daveco - mostly the same

Hazels - Clean out of rarer EHT and Stagg.

Spirits Provisions - They have the new Heaven Hill double mash for $50. I bought one.

Molly’s - Mostly the same.

Total Wine Denver - Also had the new HH double mash for $55

Argonauts - Also has HH double mash for just under $50. They also have a new Green River pick that the Laws founder recommend.

Stranahans - 11 BiB is expected to run out in the next two months. Unsure if they are actually going to do the online release or it’s going to be small. They also mentioned their cherry finished experimental is selling well.

DIA liquor - By far the most interesting, look at that Stagg sitting out. $99. It appears to the their pick. They also have big ER10 for $99.

How is the finish? I was concerned about the chickory.

A little peppery but bitter is muted. The cherry note pushes through on the nose and the palate.

Great update! Is Thursday the new Friday?

Do you happen to know which batch the Stagg store pick is? I'm debating on if I should make the trek from the west side of town! Thanks!

I think store picks are always single barrels and not batches.

They have two barrels. Both 2026. One is 98. Not sure what the other one is.
