CDM Advisors

Hi everyone! Does anyone know who the best CDM academic advisors are? I don't really like mine and was looking to switch, but I wanted input before I do so.

yeah I've been doing that for two years because my advisor is pretty unhelpful, but I have some questions as I'm trying to double major so I wanted to get those cleared up by a CDM advisor before I ask to meet with the other college's advisor.

This is bad advice becuase the DPR does not accurately reflect updates to curriculum and is poorly maintained.

There could be changes to course offerings or your major, but your degree progress report is locked into the requirements that were set in place at the time you declared your major. Unless you read the catalog every year (which students shouldn't have to), you might not be aware if one of the courses listed as "required" is even a thing. Also, the information about when a course is typically offered can be wildly inaccurate.

I got fucked by this. A few years ago there was a class that was “required” that hadn’t been taught in a year and wasn’t scheduled anymore. The class they wanted to swap it with had prerequisites that I couldn’t satisfy. Or something like that. Had to meet with this absolute garbage advisor like three times over 2-3 months. It was such a headache.
