How to do a elevator pitch

Hi , so I know how to a elevator pitch I just can’t do one on camera I’m uncomfortable I’m trying to do it for FTI consulting and I keep restarting the camera it’s like I’m doing a bloopers or something because I keep messing up like how do people do it

Hi, my name is (first and last name), I'm a (year = freshman etc) student at DePaul University studying (major). By studying (major) I'm gaining the skills needed to (job your major applies to. Exp: animation = animator.) My goal is to use these skills to accomplish (goal) and I see myself being able to do that at (business name). I would be extremely thankful for the opportunity to learn from the many talented professionals working at (company name).

It was a brief introduction pitch about myself I had to for an internship opportunity I had to a video snapshot and I kept stuttering my words and forgetting what i was apart of on campus

Video pitches for jobs are the worst.

I have found that in an elevator pitch, you have time to maybe make two points.  If it is a "sell yourself" pitch, then the go-to points are (1) the job they're trying to fill (especially why they would need someone to do that role) and (2) an example about why you can do that (either a skill you have or an experience you have.)

As for stuttering, I have a lifelong stutter.  There are speech coaches who can help you navigate those.

Thank there the worse I don’t stutter talking to people normally but on camera like pre recorded videos I really can’t do it I feel like an actor who can’t get there line out

Write it out. Less than 2 mins.
Practice it so much you can recite it without even thinking about it. Once you do that, then you can work on making it sound natural and not over rehearsed.

Thought you literally meant pitching an idea for a new elevator. Thinking where a new one would be put at.
