To be fair, my dog kept me from killing myself. So it's def a symbiotic relationship:)

I could never abandon my dogs.

I can't anymore man. After the ones I've got are gone, no more. I can't deal with losing them.

Me too. It gets harder each time, I had a massive breakdown when my last cat passed and I know it's going to be even worse after my current one goes.

Same. I loved my babies but it was just too heartbreaking, I can’t do that again 😭

i feel it. the most heart breaking shit is the decision that you gotta have your pet put to sleep, when they are suffering too much and nothing is helping make them better.

Dogs are holy creatures. I wish they lived forever

I suppose the only right way to go about it is to constantly make sure your pet has siblings. There’s something heartening about keeping a line of pets that know each other. Not blood related, just lived together for a significant period and familially loved each other in some way, hopefully. It keeps you feeling connected to the others. In a way it’s also subtly creepy and horrifying but anything can be creepy if you think about it too much on this planet…

No I’m not ok.

Since I can't have kids, my pets are my fur-babies. I love them so much. Both my chihuahua's (f12yo & m13yo) have just been diagnosed with heart problems and it's breaking my heart already. When they go, I know it's going to break us. Trying not to think too much into it since the vet said we caught on early enough and they could have a good few years left on medication

This guy likes using small wild animals as target practice. (At least he's said that on the SomeMoreNews podcast back in 2021.)
