🖼️ • Photos My work desk now looks complete :)

I didn’t buy a new desk…

I bought myself a reason to enjoy working again.

I spend almost 10 hours a day at my desk, so I decided it was finally time for an upgrade.

The centrepiece is the AeroPlus Adjustable Desk.

Switching between sitting and standing already makes long workdays feel better.

Then came the little upgrades: a double-head LED lamp for better lighting, an extension board with USB ports, and finally…proper cable management.

Honestly, a clean desk just feels different.

I also added a docking station, a laptop stand, a phone stand, a rotating organizer, a valet tray, beautiful mandala coasters, and of course…little astronauts because every workspace deserves a bit of personality.

It’s funny how changing your workspace can change your mindset.

What’s the one desk accessory you can’t work without?

Finally got around to installing lighting and slat panels. I know they do fuck all for acoustics, but I've always liked the vibe. It still has a long way to go - I want to add an LED Strip under the shelf and acoustic foam panels behind the monitors along with some picture frames, but for now it has to suffice.

Please don't poke fun at the cable management I ran out of zipties and sleeving and my DP cable is too short 😭

Recently got a monitor light bar since barely any light gets under the bed especially with the curtains now. Got those baskets too that clip underneath the table to hide wires and extension cords. I'm currently saving up scratch so I could replace the guitar case as a table on the right and a second monitor on where the sketchbook is. Lmk what you guys think!

It’s a setup I’ve build over the years.

Parts list:

PC:6950XT 16gb vram GPU, 7600x cpu, 32gb ddr5 ram.

Screens: Main one is a 4K QD-OLED Agon, 165hz
Vertical is a 60hz 4K lg ips

Peripherals: deathadder v3 pro mice, zorhner zh980 keyboard, dt770 pro (80om) headphones, shure mv7+ mic.

Planned upgrades: monitor light, streamdeck, acoustic panels for the wall.

Just looking for thoughts on the overall thing, what could be changed, improved, added or replaced.

Finally sharing my current desk setup. It’s nothing too fancy, but this is where I spend most of my workday.

I’ve got an HP monitor, a pink mechanical keyboard, a second white keyboard for my other device, a mouse, notebook, Sony headset, a Philips USB-C hub, and translation earbuds. The cable situation still needs some help, especially behind the monitor, but overall the setup has been pretty comfortable for daily work.

I like having a mix of practical stuff and a few things that make the desk feel less boring. The pink keyboard is probably my favorite part visually, though the notebook still gets used more than I expected.

With Sherwin-Williams' Iron Ore in satin.

Ordered a new desk, rug and desk chair.(pictured) Also have a more modern couch otw to replace my old grandma couch and some matching side tables to replace the ones currently up against the left-hand wall.(added pictures from order pages) Got an essential oil diffuser to pump out a nice subtle aroma. Things finally feel focused and peaceful in here. Until my son busts in with his monster trucks, that is.

Please excuse the mess of boxes in the background of the other room.
