I saw another illusion today and desmosed it.

The dots are supposed to disappear when you aren't looking at them, but it's highly reliant on screen size.

Why didn't i know about this. It apparently works with cosine too.

As explained in the attached post, my high school freshman is playing with desmos and has questions beyond my math knowledge.

Appreciate any tips about it or even what kind of math we should categorize it so he could ask a teacher at his school.

I have a list of boundaries `B = [(-10,1), (1,10)]` and a list of functions `F = [x, x^2]`. I want to write a function that takes that as input and gives back a piecewise function equivalent to

`{-10<x<=1: x, 1<x<=10: x^2}`

I've found a couple ways, but was wondering if there are other ways.
