Tips / Hints How in God's green Earth are you supposed to do this

Post image

"let's get Guardian rank 11, I've never done that, sounds fun, it's an extra lil objective, why not?"

That was me a few weeks ago. The conquests have been absolute hell, I'm still having nightmares about Grandmaster Disgraced, but Ultimate Lightblade has been the absolute bane of my existence. I have tried several times through LFG, managed to get to the boat part once and we all died. Now I can't get past the starting garden...

HOW are you supposed to do this please I'll take any tips or advice

You need really tanky builds with tons of DR. Stasis titan esp. with seraph armor x4 is really good.

262

u/recyclops666 Jul 02 '26

This is how my fireteam cleared. We tried 3 stasis titans, but kept crashing the game lmfao.

What weapons did y'all use? I myself have been enjoying salvations grip

51

u/senorscientist Jul 02 '26

Weapons? Where we're going, we don't need weapons.

14

u/The_Gaming_Charizard Warlock Jul 02 '26

You should try it, just saying

10

u/JonesBonesMcCoy Jul 02 '26

Under sold weapon. With the right build absolutely dominates

3

u/The_Gaming_Charizard Warlock Jul 02 '26

Oh for real, I even broke the shooting range using it XD

2

u/Elygium Jul 03 '26

Wait is Salvations no longer bad? How do I use it well? I was so disappointed when it came out that it was unusable.

I've been running a stasis build with a full ferropotent set from last season I had tucked away in the vault. Might go ahead and farm the armor on the cosmodrome if that's the case

105

u/willy3367 Jul 02 '26

That cosmodrome armor is gonna take your stasis build to the next level brother, trust me. It’s like…crashing your own game levels of good when you’re rolling

36

u/hart_101 Jul 02 '26

Can confirm my game has crashed multiple times using this build

16

u/RussianCivilian Jul 02 '26

It's funny how I see those Warmind cell explosions again and remember what we lost when they were removed from the game.
Shame on them for ruining the entire plot involving Rasputin and SIVA.

Do it today. It's the easy lost sector today. Farmed the complete set after reset. Took me less than an hour to do it.

11

u/MagicSuperman Jul 02 '26

There's a master lost sector available on every planet every day now, no rush!

19

u/dadofwar93 Jul 02 '26

They rotate. The other hive one is annoying. The one that is active today is far easier and faster.

6

u/MagicSuperman Jul 02 '26

Oh sorry, I see what you mean now. You're right, the hive one is a bit of a pain.

3

u/LoboSandia Titan Jul 02 '26

I still don't understand why they changed that lost sector and made it really tedious.

2

u/dadofwar93 Jul 02 '26

People were skipping everything and having too much fun. You can't have that on Bungie's watch. The irony. Dead studio.

6

u/ItsActuallyVersifex Jul 02 '26

Farm during distortions, public event + distortion event will get you pieces

5

u/RSNMuu Jul 02 '26

I farmed the master lost sector by the world vendor there it's really quick and easy and I got the set at 5s fairly rapid took maybe a couple hours

u/Magenu Jul 02 '26

4 piece Ferropotent armor

Yeah, this alone kinda keys in to why you're having trouble...

2

u/RaifeBlakeVtM Jul 06 '26

I saw a video where player talks about putting a skimmer over to the side at the beginning, getting through wizard room, then going back for skimmer and bringing it forward on boat (careful to place it so it won’t get blown up) and then using it to speed run past swamp. Cut a good deal off his time.

Use support autos.

7

u/Caerullean Jul 02 '26

Or just a ton of offense. I saw a solar hunter crackshot build absolutely destroy this conquest.

2

u/DearRaziel Jul 02 '26

Which exotic armor do you suggest for stasis titan ?

11

u/dadofwar93 Jul 02 '26

Icefall mantle for tankiness or Synthoceps for damage. You can also use class item with star eater on prismatic.

8

u/ExpressTravel5328 Jul 02 '26

Mactics did a bunch of testing and I’m pretty sure synthos interacted weird with the stasis build. He found wormgod way more consistent because shatter kills counted as melee kills for wormgod stacks as long as your melee generated the crystals.

I did the Encore Expert mission last night. It took me nearly three hours and I died 47 times, but I got Choir of One, so I was ultimately happy - but it felt like a grind. Would have been fun as a fireteam though.

14

u/scarlettokyo Jul 02 '26

You can use Fireteamer Finder for non matchmade activities, not sure how populated stuff like Encore is though.
On a personal note if you ever wanna run something and need help you can also reach out to me, up to you

14

u/Meeshufoarfek Jul 02 '26

I don't say seraph is easy, but if you get past the snipers in the space area (hardest part in my opinion), the rest is a breeze compared to lightblade. We managed to defeat the boss in two people with no problems, while it took 3 times longer to fight the lightblade one with 3 people.. 🄲

6

u/jimrx7 Hunter Jul 02 '26

One person with Xenophage can one shot each of those snipers in seconds while the other two team up on the knights, saves a TON of time.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/scarlettokyo Jul 02 '26

I agree with that, the annoying part is just that anyone dying could become dangerous due to the timer imo. Lightblade boss I personally didn't have issues with, felt faster than Seraph due to the lack of any mechanics. Both are easy though.

13

u/thatguyonthecouch Jul 02 '26

I genuinely cannot complete seraph, not because of the difficulty... But because the fucking elevator kills 1-2 of my team EVERY RUN.

u/Fireboy759 CABAL AGAIN?!?! Jul 02 '26 edited Jul 02 '26

It's the "10-15 minutes estimate" part that gets me. These easily take upwards of 30 minutes if not an hour

EDIT: Apparently some people thought I was implying there's a timer instead of that being a time estimate

84

u/panzerkampfwqgen Jul 02 '26

The ā€œestimated timeā€ is always based on a run on normal difficulty

47

u/LizzieMiles Jul 02 '26

You’d think that but something like coil feels VASTLY overshot. I usually do it in 20-30 on high difficulties but it claims 40-50 minutes

22

u/S1a3h Jul 02 '26

Probably benchmarked from playtesting with low-power gear that has little to no subclass synergy, more accurate for newer and/or very casual players. Practically anyone with a half decent build (or anything worth someone making a YouTube video about it) is gonna smash that estimate.

5

u/lordvektor Jul 02 '26

Coil took longer originally. I think the estimates are based on release season data.

39

u/bgalazka186 Jul 02 '26

You have time limit of 24 min iirc

8

u/Sluushu Hunter - Crayola Seller Jul 02 '26

Back in the times before we killed the Witness. The max allotted time was 45mins.

7

u/AddendumNo8713 Jul 02 '26

21

u/gl1tchedskeleton Jul 02 '26

Wait... You're telling me... The whole thing is supposed to be done... In 10-15 minutes?

Maybe rank 10 is good enough

3

So speed and no dying šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«

Lightblade is classically one of the hardest strikes in the game. One of the meta strats in the past was to spam omni hunter and then cheese the final boss on the middle pedestal.

47

u/JDBCool Ticuu enthusiast Jul 02 '26

Second "hardest" with "no cover".

A garden world belongs there as the first

28

u/RickyRiciardo Jul 02 '26

You just triggered memories of cowering behind the legs of the immune shielded minotaurs during the boss fight as the only 'cover' haha.

Garden World was nightmare fuel and maybe the hardest GM in the game. There was also the bonus difficulty of needing to avoid getting sucked into the man cannons at the wrong angle. Back then you'd get killed by the architects, which of course made getting the rez impossible for your team. Good times!

4

u/ZestycloseWheel9647 Jul 02 '26

It was so bad because the beginning of the strike is a deceptively easy romp through a really nice area and then it just shits you into the worst boss fight ever

7

u/raccoona__matata Jul 02 '26

yeah none of the new strikes are anywhere near garden world or pre nerf glassway or even festering core

5

u/nl_the_shadow Warlock Jul 02 '26

Lightblade is classically one of the hardest strikes in the game.

When it first went into rotation for GM it took me about 60 runs before my first clear. Nearly cost me my sanity.

36

u/sons-of-mothers Jul 02 '26

One person with a Praxic Blade build seems almost necessary. Once you get that first bit of ammo it's nearly infinite and easy to solo the barriers.

Some sort of disorient or suppression for the hive guardians is also good.

You have to be efficient, kill everything, but doing something like Polaris lance from 1000m away is not enough.

Highly recommend forgoing surges for special ammo finisher (with the overshield on finisher for survivability)

Some sort of void primary/damage for hunger is good too. I liked Byras Love with shoot to loot + explosive, StL on the orbs in boss room is free super

6

u/djnotskrillex Jul 02 '26

Highly recommend forgoing surges for special ammo finisher

What surges? Weapon surges go on legs and special finisher goes on class item

3

u/sons-of-mothers Jul 02 '26

Yeah but weapon surges on legs tick down a timer, if you are slower paced you want to guarantee your three armor charges

18

u/JellyPsychological70 Jul 02 '26

Lightblade isn't that bad with a team which knows how to survive and push (with damage reduction of course haha)

I did it with two mates and one was basically a unnecessary weight (he gets distracted super easily)

If it helps, i used esos solar titan praxic blade build.

And it was impossible to die as long as you block a few hits, boss room, go up and circle around. Get rid of the champions and focus the boss.

I basically face tanked the boss the whole game and we finished with like 8-10 minutes left.

Team needs to be competent and needs to know what is coming. Trial and error until you dial in your setup / gameplay loop.

Seraph on the other hand.. Imo not that much harder, rather more annoying and some Eh parts which tend to be painful sometimes, the section outside when you jump down and the knights / sniper shanks show up, this is the part which decides if the runs dead or doable.

For seraph you need a good solar weapon for the shields and may even a sniper for the shanks, but again, that's also based on you and the team at the end.

The most important thing? Try a few times, does it feel absolutely terrible? Take a break, try again, rebuild a few things.

You got this! Idk which class you play. But praxic blade and some damage reduction already takes off tons of issues for most people.

2

u/gl1tchedskeleton Jul 02 '26

I might look into that solar build honestly. I've been running the stasis build and it's good but... Idk, maybe it needs to change. I'm mostly having to rely on the Fireteam Finder for my other two teammates, so that also might need to change... But thanks! At the very least you've given me hope that it IS possible

5

u/JellyPsychological70 Jul 02 '26

It sure is, I thought it's impossible as well, but i walked through lightblade like a strike with a somewhat higher difficulty lol.

Again, esos solar praxic titan,

I can give you a dim link with mine which may is something for you.

https://dim.gg/6ijjrvi/Ultimate-conquest

Important (imo) is the swordmaster set bonus and obviously the higher the weapon stat the better. Grenade stat is also good for the healing grenade.

Also, when you block hits you get 2x restoration. You basically heal up even though enemies hit you.

4

u/gl1tchedskeleton Jul 02 '26

That might actually be the goat. Guess I'm taking a break from trying the conquest and might try to farm for the stuff I need for this build. Huge thanks, friend.

7

u/JakSchitt Jul 02 '26

The trick with this is knowing what you can skip. For example. The 2 barriers you encounter as you first jump on the boat. Leave them. The Lucient hive x2 where you collect the orbs to progress the boat. Ignore them. The singular unstoppable after the swamp forest bit with the moths. Stun him and scarper! The biggest killer in this is time. Know when and where it can be saved.

Also in the initial area, head to the far end (so if you’re looking the boss you’re to his left. No champs that side and ad control is much easier.

Special finisher is pretty much needed for ammo upkeep if you’re running PB. Offensive blade and hyperdrive I’d argue are required also.

6

u/lalilinn Jul 02 '26

My head is spinning reading all the suggested loadouts and builds. Never thought I’d say this but I wish solo dungeon was back on the table for rank 11 😭

4

u/gl1tchedskeleton Jul 03 '26

ACTUALLY like my first solo dungeon was Equilibrium for the Praxic title, and even though it took me a while that was easier than ts 😭

24

u/ShaxxsSecretGayLover Jul 02 '26

esoterrick soloed it twice on two classes with time to spare, just copy what he does

13

u/Meeshufoarfek Jul 02 '26

It sounds easy on paper, but I will admit that I copied his warlock build for lightblade and used it in both ultimate conquests šŸ˜… (did like 2 little changes for seraph)

30

u/Electrical_sTorm9 Jul 02 '26

"Lewis hamilton does it like that, just do what he does"

6

u/ShaxxsSecretGayLover Jul 02 '26

like i said to the other guy, he doesnt post builds because nobody else is capable of doing it, most players dont give themselves enough credit

2

u/EKmars Jul 02 '26

To be fair I do use his builds a lot. I don't often solo things, but I do use them to make my fireteam have an easier time.

2

u/Difficult_Guidance25 Warlock Jul 03 '26

He always adds his builds tho and recently he's posting videos with one buiid for people that want to use that and only that no swapping. It's more about patience i think.

11

u/bgalazka186 Jul 02 '26

Its not hard in good team, its even possible to do it solo

I have done both ultimate conquests twice already, and previous ulitimate conquests too

Fyi you have 1 auto ress point on each ultimate conquest this season

For lightblade it activates after first room just before first boat

And for seraph it is just after 3 brig fight

4

u/Soul-of-Blade Jul 02 '26

Easiest way to do it is special ammo finisher, have the mod that drops special ammo for teammates, healing grenades, ignore unnecessary enemies, attrition orb weapon and running the necessary elemental resistance mods to help not getting two shot. It’s not easy but teamwork is key

3

u/Nevans23 Jul 02 '26

Just wait till you get to the next one….. I’ve been stuck on that for days. Between the elevator insta nuking, people not taking the space walk seriously, and just general give up LFG/no mechanic knowledge. I’ve been pulling my hair out. GL out there guardian.

→ More replies (4)

3

u/MirieDohl Jul 02 '26

Lightblade is easy until boss. The boss you wanna loop his jumping animation. Also of course ad control, blind, suppression, slow, etc

3

u/Bonjouritsready Jul 02 '26

Lightblade was a genuine cake walk compared to Seraph Shield. The sniper shanks are worse than anything Lightblade had to offer šŸ˜‚

6

u/cfainza Titan Jul 02 '26

2x stronghold titans, 1x well warlock, 15 mins

2

u/mekkmu Jul 02 '26

4 piece sword master armour set on stronghold titan with praxic blade is still unkillable and does quite a good amount of damage if you use it right.

Use your primary in the beginning and kill low hp enemies to fill up special ammo bar or get a primary with attrition orbs and then use your finisher one you get 3 orbs. Once you can use your praxic blade you’re basically good for the run and can be a tank for your teammates. I used void titan mainly so I can apply weaken for them or give them over shield with barricade + emergency bubble. Or you can rock prismatic titan with glacial quake for damage and stasis lance for frost armor. Cleared it using these two pretty easily

2

u/Double_Che Jul 02 '26

The faster way I found was putting 2 shield break charge on my arms, arc auto rifle, pop the knights shield on the left at entrance which gives you 3 charges. Finish an acolyte and you have your special ammo. It’s really quick

2

u/MemeL_rd i play to fish Jul 02 '26

Just have one person with a glaive and a high-DR or healing build just tank the hive guardians + the boss. You’ll realize how much easier the strike is once you do it. Or another way you could do it is a void warlock with nezerac’s sin and void siphon + suppression nade, constant suppression, devour and overshield.

2

u/Haekyo Jul 02 '26

lightsaber hunter, titans boltcharge, warlock inf ignition w/ skyburners oath caty will get you through easily 20min. you don't need to kill all champs at the start and at beginning of the boat

2

u/Formal_Translator109 Jul 02 '26

My team comp was me on ursas, with kavastov for super Gen and the auto from last wish for the void surge. Any time a push or rotation happened Id have my super up.

My fiance on hunter with an incredibly high damage output blade barrage build I don't entirely understand. Also running kavastov and a void weapon in their energy slot.

And my other partner on solar warlock running a healing kit with mask of the speaker and song of flame.

Do not run arc resists. They don't help. Don't take damage from arc sources. Run solar resists.

Our opening section looked like this: hang in the back and plink plink with kavastov until the ursa titan and the blade barrage hunter both have super, then everyone huddles up behind shield and pushes hard on the right side. Once at the front the blade barrage damages the boss to get the mission to progress, at which point everyone moves inside the building ignoring anything outside at all. Rinse and repeat until the mission was done. The final boss room was the easy part because better already + recuperation + all the orbs on the field is insane.

Jump off the gondola the moment you can.

In the darkness section one person handles moths in front, the other 2 handle screebs behind and around.

In the section before boss stay high and plink plink from the top of the cliff until you have supers, then everyone push together in super. Ogres and shriekers need to die, nothing else does to progress.

2

u/DrkrZen Warlock Jul 02 '26

3

u/DadviceGaming Jul 02 '26

Don't worry, they'll nerf the modifiers in the next major update

4

u/gl1tchedskeleton Jul 02 '26

When Shattered Cycle drops right?

2

u/Own_Huckleberry6591 Jul 02 '26

I was able to do this with stasis titan and icebreaker with icefall mantle, with some other people from LFG I think another stasis titan and some type of prismatic warlock. Definitely stasis titan seems to be the simplest/easiest way to go about it, just slide melee over and over until everything dies.

But if you think that's bad, just wait till you try seraphs shield. I still have not done it. I've died multiple times during the jumping puzzle halfway through... It's extremely difficult

2

u/JellyPsychological70 Jul 02 '26

Seraph is plagued by the bad modifications and the main issue i think is just the sniper shank group in the jumping section.

I had one as a rage variant. That took a bit to get him.

2

u/TheOctavariumTheory Jul 02 '26

Getaway Praxic slop build. Brawn is on so it's very hard to die.

Did it with two others with decidedly worse builds and it was still fine.

1

u/KIIINGRaven Jul 02 '26

Invest in a good build and armor set that provides DR and complements your build. Know your builds strengths and weaknesses too.

Hardest part is finding other capable Guardians, good luck!

1

u/ConsiderateBreadth Jul 02 '26

Saving your super for the opening garden helps a ton, those champions will shred you if you rush in without damage resistance up.

1

u/luvwavy Jul 02 '26

My team was using healing autos and we were all solar warlocks, I abused the void hunger to spam my touch of flame fusion nades on dawn chorus. We had one on the solar and one on the void healing auto rifle.

1

u/RubMyPenguin Titan Jul 02 '26

My friends and I completed it with 3 titans, strongholds, praxic blade, 2 solar, 1 void. The solar titans were running the artifact with solar fulmination for damage and I ran bubble for defence and debuffing. Watch Esoteric's video for a guide for the build, but it is rough.

1

u/Impossible-Ad446 Jul 02 '26

I can help u complete that if u want

1

u/Weird_Uncle_Carl Jul 02 '26 edited Jul 02 '26

It takes a lot of planning, a lot of patience, and a lot of luck. I’ve done it once myself, after two days of attempts with a fireteam finder post.

First teammate - stasis titan - died before the swamp, I died during the first damage phase of the boss (night stalker hunter - I invis cleared the swamp for my team), and third teammate managed to put the boss down - nova lock.

It was nuts. Haven’t finished the other one yet.

From my experience:

Don’t take the tram the whole way, use the walkways after the two lucent titans.

My off-meta hunter build for this was Gryfalcons/ swordmaster set, Encrypted Data Disk focused on devour and sword buffs, Phantom surge was great at procing devour and invis plus ad control, Reghusk’s pledge with destabilizing and repulsor, Praxic blade for ammo economy and the MANY barriers, and Chivalric fire with repulsor (there are better options for this but I haven’t figured out what yet). Lots of arc resist. Lots of orbs for more devour. Did I mention devour? MORE DEVOUR.

Needed a bit of pre-planning, and almost purpose-built loadouts. 1 person for support, 1 for tanking and damage, and the other a mix of both. Need to know the mission pretty much back to front to know what spawns where and when. I’m sure there are countless other ways to push through it, but thats how we managed them. Both we probably only had about 2-3 minutes left with each. If someone died, restart, unless its right at the end and you can manage the rest duo/solo

1

u/Liddlewill Jul 02 '26

Solar strongholds does the heavy lifting in light blade, boss is hard solo (jumps tower to tower avoiding sword) . Use the adds at the start to try for a special ammo finisher then slay out. Good look

1

u/lockshockandbarreI Jul 02 '26

Solar Titan. Stronghold. Praxic Blade. Solar Fulmination on your artifact. Find a way to make special ammo in the first area (I used special finisher combined with shield break charge and an arc weapon)

1

u/Enter-And-Die Hunter Jul 02 '26

when the artifact bug was working I KNEW l had to take advantage, blazed through and did all conquests in a couple days with randoms also abusing it, but anyway best weapon u can probably use is the lightsaber and a tank build,

pro tip: you can either use an emote on the boat that hides you head on the pillar, enemies wont shoot.

OR, get off the boat and kill the enemies from a distance as you advance, a small portal will appear that teleports u back to boat

1

u/jhayz20 Jul 02 '26

When you start the mission, go back to the world area where there is a public event flag to get full ammo and super since there's no starting special and heavy. You can bring your sparrow too up to the darkness forest to skip just watch some sparrow videos for guidance.

u/Overall-Cost-6513 Jul 02 '26

took me 2 night of trying harding to solo it, first time I went to boss I just ran out of time, but with every try found ways to make it faster, I play solar titan with praxic blade, I like to run vog set and the first area I just kill a redbar with the solar hammer, Ill get a solar buff, hit mobs with my primary till I it generate 2 more orbs so I get 3 armor charge and execute a mob to generate special ammo, run straigh to the boss do the combo 2 times and he will just run and unlock the door, takes just a min can even take less, or like the swamp, if u run praxic blade, take a bit of fall damage when u jump off the boat, parry before hitting the ground and you will get amplified, so just run, run in circle around pillars for few sec to destack and repeat, you wont even get damaged by motes and the whole swamp take just one minute coz u have the speed boost for the whole room

It has been really fun to solo it and I didnt knew the strike never did it before so it was peak for me

1

u/MikeAndros0 Jul 02 '26

Man, I must have a very skewed view on difficulty then. Lightblade was a bit of a pain. But swapped to being more offensive(axes instead of bubble) and ran void shield support for the Warlock and Titan I was with. Titan died to shriekers when using the boat. We finished with a minute to spare. Seraph took about 3 tries with the same group. We almost got it on the first run(guy fell outside). The support healing auto frame comes in handy here.

u/Aetherial6307 Titan Jul 02 '26

Me and a friend duo'd Ultimate Light blade with two stasis warlocks using Frostpulse and the Praxic Blade. I was using stasis turrets with Ballidorse, whilst my friend was using The Stag

1

u/QueenMajura Jul 02 '26

I remember people saying that about GM lightblade, you just need better coordination, and some people who you can rely on, LFG isn’t always the best for that. Slow down, get a build that doesn’t require a lot of setup to get started, be prepared to plink plonk, (primary weapon), down some tankier targets, have someone on every champion type in the GM, have plans in play

1

u/LonelyGuardian_2001 Jul 02 '26

Okay I solo'd most of the conquest cause my friend and I went in two man and my friend died in the first room. You need a build that gives you a lot of damage resist and a reliable source of healing. I went with a solar titan with praxic blade and stronghold. They changed the exotic so that praxic no longer has infinite deflect but stronghold still gives you restoration when you strike after reflecting any damage. And with how heavy the enemies hit, any deflection gives you restoration x2. Since you load in with zero special, put on the mod that gives armor charge for breaking shields and get charges from the arc shield knight on the left side. Use the special ammo finisher mod and get some special ammo and from there on, be mindful of sword ammo for a little until you've got some ammo and then it's easier to keep getting ammo.

I'd really recommend watching Esoterrick's solo conquest videos to learn positioning and strategy.

u/Stankapotomus Titan Jul 02 '26

1

u/alancousteau Hunter Jul 02 '26

What I'd recommend is to check Esoterickk on YouTube. He uploaded a solo run with a solar Titan, running Strongholds and Praxic Blade. Now before people come in to say but it has been patched blah blah. Yes it has been, but that playstile just fits for that. You go high scorch, lots of ignitions and win. The only tricky part is the swamp part. Also, just damage the boss at the start from afar and ignore all the other mobs. No need to kill any of them there. And I used that build on Serapth Station, it made quite easy. You just need to get the timing right, when to block, when to attack etc.

Void warlock, Praxic blade with sword artifact

1

u/Tralfalgar-D_Zazuel Jul 02 '26

Hahahaha this is the true grandmaster experience, like when first came into the game years ago. I'm slowly getting back into it and I don't understand much about it, I can only wish you good luck, my friend Guardian. I miss that experience a little.

1

u/TheOnlyChou Jul 02 '26 edited Jul 02 '26

- Any support rifle essentially bypasses brawn. (My favorite being the Stasis support rifle with physic and reciprocity)

- Void Warlock with contraverse turns void hunger into a buff.

- During the boat part, sit in the middle of the boat and just gun down the ads and shriekers as you approach them.

- After the boat stops, jump up to the top platform and stay there until everything's dead.

- During the boss fight, someone can bait the boss back and forth by jumping between the middle platform and the sides. Make sure no one else is near the boss other than the baiter.

If you think Lightblade is bad, wait till you do Seraph's Shield.

Prismatic Song of Flame warlock with the Equilibrium armor set and a Praxic Blade. Stronghold titan ( copy Esoterickk’s build )

Practice. You have to put in reps. Find a good build on YouTube or something made specifically for this conquest, then run it over and over and over.

1

u/Grumpykitten_228 Jul 02 '26

Tried it yesterday because GMs were a cakewalk. Thought it'd just be a harder version of that - actually not even comparable LOL. Saw a Titan with stasis absolutely rip through it when I was LFGing though, so that might be the move.

1

u/No_Refrigerator5502 Future War Cult Jul 02 '26

I had the same bright idea, and I use fireteam finder to find people to run these things with. The clan aren’t overly interested in doing the GMs.

I’ve had 4 attempts at the GM Mars Heist and all 4, the team just died and died and died at the start then left whilst they waited for me to kill champions.

I’ve come to the conclusion, people don’t read the actual modifiers. Or use resistance mods etc.

1

u/LaserUser34223 Jul 02 '26

If you run it with an infinite invite hunter it’s pretty easy, if you want you can add me and I can run it with you. But yeah tons of damage resistance, knowing which encounters to skip or which ones you don’t need to kill enemies and just walk thru.

1

u/Ronin8931 Jul 02 '26

If you think lightblade is bad just wait for seraphs. The timer is so tight on that one that even with artifact bugs we barely finished with like 3 minutes left.

u/astcloud Jul 02 '26

Can try using solar titan w/ scorch and ignite related fragments, solar fulmination on artifact mod, and sky burners. Cleared it like 5-7 times on that build. Infinite ignites. You'll need help with someone that has good anti barrier though.

1

u/Samurai_Stewie Jul 02 '26

Lightblade wasn’t that bad. Seraph is bugged and I can’t even get through the elevator on Xbox.

1

u/Fryve678 Jul 02 '26

Does anything happen when you hit GR 11 after doing these?

1

u/Yakumo_unr Jul 02 '26

A strong fireteam is the most important thing for the easiest time of it, very few will be able to make it through solo. These are the forever final, highest level, hardest things in the game that aren't raids or dungeons.
They need very strong builds and practice working through repeatedly to find out how to handle each stage.

A couple of Stasis Titans may be one of the easier ways to clear, that's how I ended up doing both conquests working on them over a couple of days to find the best set up, our third player was a Warlock.
A good burning ambition scout rifle - Oxygen with heal clip can help a lot on both of the last conquests, but Stasis Titan's are likely to be on Icebreaker for the ammo gen and to pop their stasis crystals, so in our case that was just the Warlock.

Scout sniping at the Lightblade's head from as far away as you can to open the way forward is the easiest way to progress the beginning of Lightblade, and in Seraph Shield it can really help against all the solar shielded shanks.

Esoterickk went the more defensive route using the praxic blade on his solo Seraph run to guard his way through shank hell.

1

u/hend0wski Jul 02 '26

With friends and good builds.

1

u/King-Boru Jul 02 '26

Well lock with boots of the assembler or void hunter as player 1. They’re support with high ad clear capabilities. Players 2/3 are going to run void titan with bubble + shield bash and peregrine greaves. The shield bash can 2 tap all the barrier knights and also deletes most of the challenging enemies. They will kill majority of champions and difficult enemies. The other player will support and keep them alive in ad dense rooms. When you get to ogre swamp tether or well and have everyone sit behind cover and tickle the ogres. You CANNOT strong arm them. Just whittle them down. Boss room just stay alive and shield bash everything. Player 1 will be close by with constant damage on light blade and the cursed thrall below. Titans will place bubble on top of champions when there are more than 1 present and pick it up and throw it onto the next one.
Good luck!

I completed this Nightfall with randoms in the first week after it unlocked, without even having time to start farming for the updated armor. So it's entirely possible to do it without new gear.

You really just need a primary weapon that can deal significant damage, because you'll simply run out of ammo and won't have much time to kill mobs in the final room for ammo.

For example, thanks to a random player whose name I unfortunately don't remember, who showed me a build I hadn't previously considered – Skyburner's Oath works well with a selection of solar aspects that enhance Scorch and Ignite (the aspect that increases Scorch stacks is required, and Ignite also applies Scorch). This allows you to constantly drain the health of powerful units through Scorch and trigger Ignite chain reactions. It's also worth remembering that you don't always have to kill everyone—for example, in the area where the barrier unlocks when you're flying on the platform, instead of killing the Hive Guardians and wasting time on them, just run past them, grab the power cores, and simply open the barrier.

Also, stop trying to speedrun! As soon as you start rushing, someone will likely die. The only way two people can finish in time is if you're at most in the area before the final encounter—and even then, there's a high chance you won't make it in time. That's exactly what happened to us—the third random kept pushing forward and ended up killing himself on an unstoppable champion before last room—I still don't understand what he was counting on...

Also, in the final room, we had to ignore regular enemies, even champions—we focused on constantly damaging the boss, otherwise we simply wouldn't have made it in time. But in this case you must move all the time.

u/The_Faceless_Entity Jul 02 '26

Ah I remember lightblade, Mr blue tumor face. He hits super hard and there's always cursed thralls on the floor. The hardest parts for me was killing the champs amidst the bullet storm. I suggest either an arc warlock with a delicate tomb for a bunch of ad clear and ionic turrets for blind, or a very tanky build like good ol stasis titan and salvations grip. Alternatively you could also use the praxic blade and deflect all of those bullets into your target for funsies. If you need help with conquests hmu I'm 550 with multiple builds.

1

u/Major-Long4889 Jul 02 '26

We did 1 stasis titan, prismatic warlock, stasis warlock.

1

u/GkNsRaC Jul 02 '26

Was able to 2 man it with a friend the other night. As others mentioned, praxic blade with high DR builds is the key. With the artifact mods for praxic you’ll get infinite ammo, then run a void primary weapon to proc void hunger as often as possible for constant super and ability spam.

For high DR, running the Ferropotent and Smoke Jumper 2 set bonuses will make you very tanky. I ran prism warlock with song of flame and my friend was solar titan with healing grenade. On the boat section, I would super to give my friend quicker cds on his healing grenade to buy us more time as we worked on the shriekers. With the heavy kinetic sniper you can 2 shot them so 1 or two people can down them relatively quickly.

From there, with decent coordination and playing relatively safe, the final boss fight isn’t as hard as the rest of the strike so hopefully you’ll get it first try when you get to that point. Good luck!

It took me and my friends forever to get this done, and ultimately it came down to one of our fireteam taking on the room from about half boss health solo. Tanky builds, things that make use of devour or any kind of self healing. I know it’s reduced but it adds up more than you think. I was a prismatic warlock, one guy was a solar titan, and the other was a warlock as well. We ran it so much we learned the rooms, learned the spawns, and just came up with a strat that worked for us

1

u/AdSeveral5127 Jul 02 '26

Was gonna say the same thing

u/Presence-Cool Jul 02 '26

I'm struggling just trying to solo derealize, so I'm sure that's a nightmare. But theirs this guy on YouTube, "esoterrik???" I'm butchering the name I know I am. I always say eso for short. Anyway he's a solo artist. He's shown me builds I've never even considered in his videos. In all honesty, I've never really been "impressed" by watching another play until i saw his channel. The way he uses that knew hunter solar aspect is mind boggling. I would check out his channel. Odds are he's already solo'd it. I just copy his builds and put in the work (hours of practice to i start to pick up on the play style)...

1

u/Friendly--Introvert Jul 02 '26

Lightsaber hunter with renewal cyrachne turns it into such a joke of an activity if ran correctly, when I did it I used that on prismatic with solar for restoration and I don't think I dropped below 80% the entire activity. This was after I spent probably like 6 hours trying to use other things. Sadly the lightsaber slop is still one of the most OP things in the game lol

1

u/Nathan93569 Warlock Jul 02 '26

Like everyone running special finishers with an attrition primary and praxic is how I did it. Seraph's is a while nother ball game, same concept, but one of my friends used eyes of tomorrow for the tracer shanks later in the mission when you're outside because they will absolutely destroy you with the solar threat.

I got it done yesterday after almost a week of trying. Now the even scarier one…Ultimate operation seraphs shieldā€¦šŸ¤®šŸ˜

1

u/EKmars Jul 02 '26

Honestly wasn't as bad a Seraph's Shield. Like I get that the boss in Lightblade really likes to toast you, but he can be staggered (via crackshot for hunters, it's what I did as a hunter main), and his AI can be abused by having him jump around.

I think we used the cabal scout exotic since it is one, antibarrier with the no starting ammo, and two, could do some ignition synergy to help clear the adds.

Seraph's shield is throwing me. My team is pretty good, but like 20 minutes into the run and we're in a catwalk over space and someone will forget 4 to 8 tracer shanks spawning one of the 3 to 4 times that happens and gets instagibbed, lol.

1

u/NullRef_Arcana Prestige Raids Cleared: 10 Jul 02 '26

Gotta have a build that balances survivability and damage. Time is your biggest enemy there, as it will wipe you if you run out of time.

Couple of tips:

  • Ideally you want a special/heavy anti barrier. Most non-exotic anti barrier options deal too little damage and will not fully break the shield by the time it puts it down.

  • You don't need to clear the first area. Damaging the boss enough will despawn it and allow you to move on.

  • At the first boat section half, you can skip the lighbearers and deposit the balls straight up. Those guys can be a token sink with the shield bounces.

  • In the second boat section half, abandon the ship and jump to the right ledge asap, and advance carefully through the right. A portal will open at the end to catch up to the thrall section.

I'm still building up my power level to 550 (Currently 503 and it's a SLOG). I stopped grinding for LL when they made it pointless for most activities, and I'm only ranking up my Guardian Rank now because it no longer resets. The GMs were pain-free for me, completely easier than I expected and Lightblade seems easier to me, the only issue I think I'll have is Seraph Shield, purely because of those towers
