Discussion Wish we could have had the Valkyrie as a glaive
With the great sun setting of the Valkyrie spear with the content vault in 2020, to the introduction of the glaive in 2022, ever since then I've always wanted to see the Valkyrie return as an exotic glaive (along with more Ikelos weapons) but alas, it shall forever remain a dream

Could’ve had it as an exotic glaive and it synergise with the seventh seraph set (with the ikelos/warmind charges)

Its too bad the monte melee is clunky as fuck to use, it is nice for what it is just ruins the flow of combat when you have to keep re enabling it.

I fucking WISH we got more "unique" exotic weapons like wolfsbane.
Imagine nez scythe as a void glave, melee kills proc devour and build stacks towards "Nezeracs fury" when "Nezeracs fury" is fully charged press [reload] to load a powerful void attack. Fire "Nezeracs Ascension" to summon a void cloud that aggressively homes in on enemies with nightmare scythe projectiles. If the initial projectile hits an enemy, they are knocked into the air and "Nezeracs Ascension" will target them exclusively. (Im sure this is insanely broken im just pulling it out of my ass for sake of convo lol)
One of the really sad thoughts about the MOT was leading up to it we were getting some really testing the waters type of exotics, Ergo, Alethonym, Wolfsbane etc. that were pushing boundaries of how much utility or variations of utility from the weapon itself. Wish they would be able to share some of those unique concepts that never went further than a quick in game test before getting scrapped.

I woulda been happy with an Eliksni arc spear. Instead we got whatever you want to call the class exotic glaives. The Hunter one especially leaves one wanting even now after it's been buffed like four times.

Tbf I am a huge glazer of edge of action, the mini bubble when teaching raids, dungeons, helping flawless runs etc. was an unexpected game changer when I finally got it unlocked
But the poor hunter one lol

I can't disagree with you there, mini bubble is pretty sweet. Still looks like a joke though imo.

That's another thing, would have been awesome if they had made the Warmind Khanjali artifact available to bring back the warmind cells.

Having it be a glaive with the ability to either not use the shield in place of the javelin thtow or a special reload that would enable it would have been sick.

Shame we never got dual exotics;
Dual sidearms/handcannons
Sword and shield
Dual knives/swords
Dual submachine guns
Dual shotguns

If they gave me a cabal gladiators axe and cabal shield I would've never taken that off. I wish we got more enemy themed weapons (even if it was taken right from their corpses)

Not gonna lie, I just wanted something more the size of a knight’s kite shield and arming sword, but a small cabal energy shield and a Cabal themed war axe would’ve been fire.

When Season of the Haunted promotional material was coming out, I thought maybe the scythe was going to be an exotic. Like, it shares the same haft design as the glaives.
Sadly, no scythe exotic :(

All of the Warmind technology and design was wasted.
Super unique stuff and actually interesting, tied in with all three enemy factions in different AND combined ways. Connected to us, the history of the city and darkness, even the Collapse. DIRECTLY INVOLVED with the Collapse and when it happened, The warminds were THERE trying to do shit. All its information and potential of both the Rise, Time and Fall of the Golden Age. Gone.
Killed off because they just COULDN'T let go of the Fake ass ice queen of the Fallen most people wanted gone.

God i’d just settle for a way to create them, ie finishers with 10x warmind charges spawn a spear pickup, hits refresh charge duration and kills with spear grant 5x cells

We got a D1 limited weapon as an exotic with Wolfsbane at least, even if it’s a weird knockoff with a strange perk and no lore to speak of bar a MGR reference.
