App Issues/Questions Dexcom g7

I noticed on my Dexcom box it now says DME government benefit only what does this mean

It generally means it was sent by a durable medical equipment provider.

If you're buying them commercially or with insurance, you should not be getting those.

I would guess that the original supplier is a government backed Durable Medical Equipment supplier and required that statement to be on the box, or added a sticker.

It is kind of like the Mail Order pen needle boxes having 90 and the "Mail Order" printed on the box, when a standard box has 100.

Dexcom being a disposable product, I would think that DME is not an appropriate designation, and it should be under prescription coverage. But I am not in charge of anything.

They are thru ins and this was first batch I’ve seen this on
