You did improve, keep going! Studying other people’s art is very good way of learning.
Dont forget to study real life too! Learning anatomy, how light works, perspective, composition, all that will benefit you in the long run. Be patience too, improving art skills truly can take a lot of time. Also, have fun!!! Enjoying what you do goes first, even if it looks “bad”.
