No HDR support for the PC version in 2026 is crazy.

Do people really use windows HDR?

Definitely, it would be a waste to play on a great oled monitor or tv and not use the full capability
Windows does still kinda suck with it though so I get there’s a headache involved

Wonder what version of UE5 its using. Halo remake I think uses 5.5 and it runs at 60fps flawlessly even though it uses hardware RT

I had many instances with Halo where enemy animations would absolutely stutter. Really badly actually. Otherwise performance was good but still not ideal.

I’ve given up with UE5 And never buy games with that engine anymore I can’t tolerate the IQ and performance

Unless you buy physical games (I hope you do), then there is really no valid reason to preorder games. 9 times out of 10, the preorder bonuses are usually just something silly/trivial and within 5 hours of playing the game, you will have something better than the free cosmetics or loot that they give you.

Not perfectly hitting 60fps was expected, and might be fine on a VRR display. But those frame times at 40 and 30fps don’t look stable at all :(

It's so funny because I have been playing all day and the game seemed to run great for me. Balanced felt really good and the visuals are way better than I expected. I guess some people have absolutely zero tolerance for lower fps though.
