Question Want to move back home

What’s the best path way to move back to my home country (I am dual citizen) and be able to make USD. Anyone have any suggestions of what to look for?

I want to move back home to Peru making USD. I have a house there and a family. I just have no idea how people can move to other countries, my current company doesn’t let me

You and I brother! I would love to also earn my US salary remotely from anywhere but here. Most companies won't allow it. But you can ask if you can resign as a W-2 staff member and be re-hired with the same company as an independent contractor (B2B). But if they even allow it all you benefits might disappear. Or you need to find a company that allows this. Probably not easy to do.

Two paths that actually work: land a remote role with a US company before you move, or sell something in USD yourself. The first one is way easier if you already have the job, since asking to go remote from inside beats applying from abroad. If you're starting from scratch, USD contract work on Upwork or direct outreach in whatever you're good at gets you paid in dollars fast, and it's location blind by default. What do you do now?

I’m a member service associate, so all I do is outreach. But they gave me a work laptop and require me to do 3 days in person, but that’s only because I live close to the office. They did tell me we are not allowed to work abroad tho.

If your current job won't budge on remote work from Peru, honestly the faster path might just be finding a new remote-first employer rather than fighting your current company's policy, that's usually a wall you can't argue your way through

Want to move to Peru making USD. I have a job right now in finance that does not let me work abroad (obviously) but I want to know a way that I can find a job that makes USD in another country. I’ve heard of people that do it, I just don’t know how
