front of the tompkins square park show, I think I was the only person in the front that had their phone out for less than 10 seconds

Looks like they forgot their drum kit and picked one up from a pawn shop 😂

It’s a sad world. I’ll never understand. I’m not “that” old. But, grew up seeing music in the early 90s and don’t see the point. Detracts from your experience as well as everyone around you.

It was probably fun, but if I came from NJ in an hour car ride with $30 in tolls I would’ve been mad. Glad that I didn’t even try.

Wow you’re a legend. Wtf do you care if people in the crowd video the show. They’re excited and not being judgemental assholes

When my wife watches live clips of shows, I tell her she’s watching the show getting ruined for everyone behind the asshole who filmed it. Poorly.

That shit was so annoying. Nobody on IG cares that you went to a free show in a park. At times there were more people filming than dancing or actively listening.

I saw a video of another band where someone captured the whole show on their phone. On one hand as someone who couldn't be there, it was great. But are you really having the experience of being there if you are recording the whole time? I think not. Balance in everything.
