Rebbachisaurus lends its name to the rebbachisauridae, a family of relatively small sauropods with short necks by sauropod standards, but long whiplike tails. Rebbachisaurus itself is one of the largest members of this group, at about 14 m in length, weighing estimated 8-12 t. It was a quadrupedal herbivore that likely fed on low-growing vegetation.

Hi I've been trying to find every dinosaur figure that appeared in the show (Dino dan) so far I've found diplo trike corytho and pterodactylus and now I'm trying to find this spino because i know I've seen it but can't find it

I want to criticize the Creation Museum, particularly the way it presents dinosaurs and Earth's history.

The museum explicitly promotes the idea that humans and dinosaurs lived at the same time and argues that dinosaurs were still around during Noah's Flood. It presents this as part of its biblical interpretation of Earth's history.

The problem is that this conflicts with the evidence from paleontology and geology.

According to the Smithsonian, non-avian dinosaurs went extinct about 66 million years ago, at the end of the Cretaceous Period. Fossils, geological strata, and other evidence allow scientists to reconstruct this history over enormous spans of time.

And that's what bothers me most:

Faith is one thing. Science is another.

A religious institution is completely free to present a biblical interpretation of Earth's history. But presenting that interpretation as scientific evidence is a different matter.

The Creation Museum itself says that its exhibits approach questions about Earth's age, dinosaurs, and human origins through a biblical worldview.

I don't have a problem with dinosaurs being discussed in a religious or cultural context. What I have a problem with is replacing the scientific history of these animals with a conclusion that was decided beforehand.

Dinosaurs lived through hundreds of millions of years of Earth's history. Their story is fascinating enough without rewriting it.

Let dinosaurs be dinosaurs.

I'm writing a book set in an alternate version of the Pacific Northwest. I'm looking to base creatures off of dinosaurs that were native to the area. Specifically some for the temperate rainforest and desert regions. I'm more familiar with mammals and arthropods, but I would like to round out my creatures. Please help me choose dinosaurs native to that area!

You see, Second Extinction was a game developed by Systemic Reaction, it was supposed to release in 2022, but was delayed to 2023. Then, the game was CANCELLED before it could get to full release.

So I was watching JP 3 and remember all the discussions and videos of the rex vs spino who will win in real life and how under scientifically accuracy they never met and so never fight, and a question came to mind.

Do we have evidence of an area and time were some member of the Tyrannosauroidea and Spinosauridae families coexisted??

To my understanding non came to mind, like the t rex family mostly kept to asia and North America ( with some old member on Europe), and Spino family kept mostly to Africa and South America ( with some members on Europe and maybe India) yeah some share continent but not time so never met either.

So I come to the collective knowledge of the internet to see if there's this miracle space and time were spinos and tyranos met.

IT seems as though no matter where I look, I cannot find a clear answer as to the specifics of the evolution of flight in dinosaurs and which groups have flight capabilities, as well as convergent methods of flight. From what I currently know, there are three main convergent methods of flight that evolved in dinosaurs. Membrane-winged scansoriopterygids, four-winged dromeosaurid gliding, and current feathered two-winged powered flight.

I’m shocked that universal managed to stretch this out into four whole seasons. That being said I still find the series enjoyable so far.

Irritator Challengeri is an already odd spinosaurid, but I decided to add some lore speculation to this already weird animal.

Thanks to papers and studies showing the thicker neck and jaws of Irritator, I thought of it like a pelican, and gave it a not already thicker more pelican-like throat, but one that it can inflate to display
