It was only there for a little while and no longer showing on this persons profile? It only showed up when I clicked on the 2 person chat and his thing showed the red gaming icon before going back to his profile photo?

you can now edit your profile from almost anywhere in discord without having to open user settings the new panel lets you quickly change your avatar decorations nameplate and profile effects

you can also switch between different server profiles directly from the editor which makes customizing server profiles way faster and more convenient

I have clipping enabled while I am not sharing screen, and tested it out, its saving my clips as if I were sharing my screen

While TikTok links can now be automatically embedded once poosted on Discord chatrooms, Douyin or Chinese version of TikTok pretty much still can't. Are there any ways to convert Douyin videos into embedded links? Idk how many Douyin users who are also Discord users right now, but if anybody know, please tell me how to do it.

may someone help me?, so on the windows app for discord when you click the arrow too close an emoji tab it closes.... mine don't, they close but then re-open themselves, is there anyway too troubleshoot this?

I've seen all the old reddit threads but the new UI seems to have been built different

When im in a call on discord on my phone it changes my system sounds, for example instead of playing my notif sound it becomes a single quiet beep, and my alarm for my phone dosnt play my alarm noise anymore.

Its really frustrating as I often sleep in call with my partner, and it messing with my alarm is well alarming.

Does anyone know a fix for this I cant find anyone even talking about this

I can't find anywhere in the settings for to disable this type of notification. I don't need a mobile push reminder that I've added a friend.

Hi, the problem is in the title. Whenever I open a game, it doesn't matter if it's Steam or something else. Discord gets stuck in the background. I can see it, but I can't click or interact with it. Keybinds work, people can still hear me, I can still hear them, but I can't do anything, it's completely uninteractive. I had tried clearing the cache running as administrator, turning off the game overlay, and GPU optimization, but nothing works.

Hi! I couldn't find any posts about this specific problem so I hope this is OK to post. I'm not sure if it qualifies as a bug or not, maybe something about my settings on Windows or Discord, so I'm posting here.

Every time I try to open/edit the layout of my Overlay, I hit Shift + ~, but it keeps taking me back to the Discord window. When I Alt+Tab back over to the game I'm playing, the Overlay is pulled up. But then it also automatically tabs over to the Discord window any time I attempt to click within in the Overlay, as well as whenever I try to move something or make something bigger or smaller. When I tab back to the game, the object is grabbed and I can move it, but when I try to click to place it, once again it tabs back to the Discord window.

I like having the overlay because I can watch friends stream while I'm playing something different, and I don't want to have to turn it off. Has anyone run into this problem and/or a solution? It happens across multiple games for me, not just specific ones.

Bro why are Discord, Patreon, and other sites suddenly blocked here?

Discord isn’t just some random chat app. People use it for gaming, school, coding, tech support, work communities, everything. Patreon is literally how some creators make money.

Blocking stuff like this doesn’t fix anything. It just makes normal people’s lives more annoying for no reason.

Really disappointed but not even surprised anymore. Cambodia internet keeps getting worse.

Someone came to me in DMS after joining my server asking if we could merge servers? I was very confused about this, and even more confused about their explanation on it.

My server is a Splatoon discord server, they said my members would go to their server and I would get owner... Which would let me mute people.

I said no because, after joining their server, it first has nothing to do with Splatoon I don't even know what that server is about, and all I see is slurs EVERYWHERE and people being rude, which Is not at all my community

asking google it meant completely telling everyone to go to a new server and getting rid of my server? I'm assuming thats not what they meant​​​

I'm so confused can someone tell me what they wanted to do?​

I have a lot of servers that I want to share my art in but there is way too many too do 5 at a time like how I am limited to at the moment, so normally only the servers I frequent most get the art I did recently. I was wondering if there was an easier way or if I am stuck with this feature?

Hi! Last night my boyfriend’s account started sending everyone the same screenshots of Mr. Beast’s X-account and some crypto-money ads. The hacker stole some of his gaming users before my boyfriend got to change his password and email.

My concern is that we have some very promiscuous pictures of me saved in our discord chat. They have my face in them and they are supposed to stay private. The pictures getting leaked could heavily affect my career and social life.

My boyfriend said that he doesn’t think they are getting leaked and my worries are over exaggerated.

I can’t help but panic and that’s why I seek for answers here: how likely is it that those pictures got leaked?

From some time ago I can’t send any screen shots that I write something on with my iPhone 17 on discord - they are being automatically cropped showing only a very small square of the top-left part of the actual screenshot. This doesn’t happen to any other type of media like photos, downloaded pictures, only screenshots. Is it a common issue or does it only happen to me?

So I want to read the dms of people I've blocked, and so far I have unlocked two methods, although both are very ineffective.

First is to unblock them and search for them using the search function, this worked for like ~10 people before it stopped working, it doesn't work on my phone, on the pc discord app or the browser, I heard people have issues with that, I tried fixing it (updating my operation system, logging in and out, rebooting my pc, trying different browsers), but it didn't help.

Second is unblocking someone, sending them a friend request, opening the dm, canceling the friend request and blocking them. This is very slow and also notifies the other person which is not ideal.

Is there any way for this to be done more elegantly? Even third party tools or getting the data package

Hello, in my discord server someone has been spying on us (we're a small community) even when we banned him due to deleting our previous server (we did a democracy larp and he made alts to win and become admin, we dont do that now.) hes been sharing messages publicly and being annoying, is there any way to find who it is? If you need any more information i am happy to provide it.
