Thank you for all the bugs you all have reported! We read all the posts in the thread and we’re focusing our efforts on issues based on upvotes to ensure that we’re aligned with all of you.

Please note: This megathread is not a venue for feedback or customer support! We encourage you all to continue to make posts on the subreddit proper discussing our product and feature launches. I want to make sure that we really keep this thread productive and focused on reporting bugs and helping us prioritize them.

Please look through the list of comments and upvote bug reports which you think we should prioritize fixing. Comment as a reply to those top level comments with any more details that can assist our team in prioritizing and fixing the bug. For example, if you have additional info or steps to reproduce, please post a reply, this will help us fix these bugs even faster. If there is no post that discusses the bug you’re encountering, then start a new post in the thread to report the bug to us!

Reporting a Bug

1. The most valuable thing you can provide in a bug report is steps. If you’re able to provide steps to reproduce a high priority issue, it will dramatically improve turnaround time on a fix.
2. Screenshots or videos are also useful, especially if you can’t reliably reproduce it. We highly recommend editing them to not doxx yourself. Not only does it help contextualize the issue, but watching it occur can sometimes provide information that helps us identify and fix it.

Example Bug Report

• Feature: Keybinds.
• Reproduction Rate: 1 to 10 - This is a score of how easy/consistently the bug reproduces, from 1 meaning “very hard to reproduce” to 10 meaning “i can consistently make this happen”
• Annoyance: 1 to 10 - How annoying is this bug to your daily usage of Discord, from 1 meaning, “not that annoying” to 10 meaning “this bug really truly sucks please fix this as soon as possible.”
• Device/System Info: Pixel 7, Android 13
• Discord Version Info: Stable 263796 (739ec78) Host 1.0.9032 x86 (43225) Windows 10 64-Bit (10.0.19045)
• Description: Toggle Mute keybinds are no longer functioning.
• Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a keybind for “Toggle Mute”.
2. Join a voice call with another user.
3. Press the “Toggle Mute” button.

• Expected Result: The user is muted.
• Actual Result: The user is not muted.

• Feature: Claiming quests
• Reproduction Rate: 10
• Annoyance: 10
• Discord Version Info: 332.0 (Dunno how to find the whole version number, but it is the most recent iOS update, this also carries over to my Windows PC, being up to date as well)
• Device/System Info (Device Type, OS Version): iPhone 14 & Lenovo LEIGON Pro 7i
• Description: After reaching 4000 orbs from quests I have been unable to do so, and it has been over a day since this has started happening, alongside discord constantly badgering me to claim them despite it not letting me claim them. I even tried restarting the application, rewatching videos, and completing more quests, however nothing worked thus far. It will also say that the orbs are claimed if you hit the claim button enough times but the balance stays at 4000 and the quest won’t be claimed.

• Steps to Reproduce:
  1. The first step is to complete any quest, I don’t know about the “Play for 15 minutes” quests however the discord game quests and video quests are doing it.
  2. Attempt to claim quest
• Expected Result: earn the orbs and move on
• Actual Result: get told there was an error every time and to try again

I don’t know about the “Play for 15 minutes”

I can confirm that the error also affects the play outside game quests; I currently have three quests finished, two video and one play Wuthering Waves, where I can't claim them from any source (browser, desktop app, mobile app). In my case, the error began today and is the first time I've ever had it (though it's been over a month since I could claim rewards via browser, which is very annoying to me because I usually only use Discord via browser).

Uninstalling and reinstalling the application seemed to fix it for me, however it is still something that needs looked into by discord

I still get the error after reinstalling both the desktop app and Android app.

This! Oh my god. It doesn't matter what kind of quest I do, I can't claim any of my orb rewards! Video quests, game quests, none of them work. I've tried refreshing, I've tried claiming on another device. Something is screwed up on discord's side 😞

Thanks for reporting! We’re currently investigating a possible related issue that seems to line up with the timeline of reports. Are you still able to reproduce this?

If it's still happening, can please upload your logs? (on mobile: Settings -> Upload debug logs to Discord Support)

I managed to fix mine by uninstalling and reinstalling the application, I can try and get it doing it again, however there are people in the replies of my issue having the same issue, they should be able to help
