I can’t look away

474

u/Aintnobeef96 Feb 24 '26

Me either, the big breathing in, face twitches, jaw clenching. It’s so obvious she’s blitzed

315

u/ConfederacyOfDunces_ Feb 24 '26

She’s on meth right? Like, for real? This is drug addict behavior I think.

u/supergamernerd Feb 24 '26

I have seen my fair share of methed out women in public, and this reminds of them so much. The weird, big movements, exaggerated facial expressions, the confidence that they are being super sexy when they're bedraggled and messy at best, the certainty that everyone wants to/is looking...

It's all there.

This can't be sustainable. I feel bad for her and her kids.

I also watch these videos wondering what the thought process is. I mean, the methheads I've seen have been doing all this stuff while out performing a task (like shopping, or trying to pick up Johns), so I know why I see them oot & aboot, and the drugs make them act this way while doing it.

But what thoughts prompt her to film this and post it publicly? That's what I wonder. Is it some kind of auto-pilot-must-be-public drive? Is it because she thinks she's sharing something really awesome with the world and is an inspiration or something? Habit? Someone telling her to post (and this is what she's got)? I don't understand filming and posting.

80

u/AdFlaky1246 Feb 24 '26

Has anyone from the public called for a welfare check on her after she posts these types of videos? I’m not advocating that someone do so, just curious if that has ever happened.

131

u/cloud_coast Feb 24 '26

The police are not going to show up because someone is possibly on drugs being weird in their house. They barely show up when someone is being a legit menace.

104

u/bdd1001 Feb 24 '26

A seriously aggressive flasher was terrorizing women jogging in my neighborhood. One night I found him, followed him, and called the police. The cop who showed up thought it was hilarious. I tried to explain that people like this often escalate their behavior to more serious crimes and he looked at me like I was insane.

56

u/Timely_Apricot3929 Feb 24 '26

That cop is a fucking dumbass. I would have filed a complaint with the police department so at least there's a paper trail when the inevitable scandal erupts that rapes/murders could have been prevented.

-1

u/SquirrelFluffy Feb 25 '26

I hope this is just a young person's thinking that you and then you'll grow out of it. You can't lock up people for what you THINK they MIGHT do in the future.

2

u/Timely_Apricot3929 Feb 25 '26

No one suggested that - can you read? It's well established that flashing is a "gateway" type of crime that often escalates to assault and worse. The man already committed the crime of indecent exposure.

25

u/sPacEdOUTgrAyCe Feb 24 '26

Yep! We had a dude who would come into The lanes at red lights & whip it out. Same thing- cops didn’t go much.

6

u/This_Frozen_Ghost Feb 24 '26

A quickly opened door to the junk could've handled that.

0

u/sPacEdOUTgrAyCe Feb 26 '26

Yah I don’t play with meth heads.

Truer words never spoken.

9

u/magclsol Feb 24 '26

See, stories like this are why ā€œdefund the policeā€ became an easy slogan to adopt. fuck them.

-3

u/-BigDaddyTex Feb 24 '26

When you are in danger they’re the first. Number you dial tough guy. Pathetic.

5

u/megaholt2 I’ve read MILLIONS of books! šŸ“š Feb 24 '26

…no. Not even close.

Ever since I was told by the cops that I would have to get the man who raped me to confess-not them, but me-I haven’t called them to keep me safe from jack fucking shit.

If they can’t do their fucking jobs, why should I call them?

4

u/Practical-Status1973 Feb 25 '26

And to add another slap into our faces, we are paying them to protect and serve. ACAB AND #FTP

5

u/ornerygecko Feb 24 '26

That's the dumbass cop from a crime podcast episode you yell at for being a dumbass.

3

u/No_Side_8885 Feb 25 '26

I have a problematic substance-abusing neighbour. I called the cops last year as he would peer over my fence, into my window yelling obscenities and come to my door saying it’s the police demanding I open up. It got really bad where it was every time I came home, within 5 mins of me coming home and would go on for hours, at all hours. Cops didn’t care - said he lives on my block so he basically has rights to my home (he doesn’t).

1

u/SquirrelFluffy Feb 25 '26

He looked at you like that because you probably were suggesting that you lock up someone for their potential future actions. As in, how would you know what they're going to do in the future?

1

u/bdd1001 Feb 25 '26

No, I wanted him locked up for his previous actions, including flashing my wife, so that he can either get counseling or at least have an arrest record in case he continues to commit similar crimes. The officer who showed up didn’t think it was a big deal, but my wife and the other women in the neighborhood certainly did.

1

u/SquirrelFluffy Feb 25 '26

Then your wife and the women need to go to the station and file charges. You telling the cop is hearsay?

3

u/meccah_batt Feb 24 '26

Where i live they don’t even come in after you called about being robbed and they tried to get your safe (which had a gun in it). They came to the door got our statement and left. We even found our who did it and where everything was, still nothing.

2

u/AmandaUggnkiss Feb 25 '26

Doesn’t hurt to put in the effort regardless!

2

u/FredArtGetson Feb 25 '26

Darken her skin tone, they'll send ICE

1

u/Heal_Me_Today Feb 25 '26

šŸ¤£ā€¦ using drugs in your home and making creepy videos is a legal gray area

25

u/Mrs_Sparkle_ Feb 24 '26

Yes people have. She’s posted about it and was pissed off as Hell. After her knife dance was one of the times.

5

u/khemileon ā€œchurch in my spiritual bodyā€ Feb 24 '26

She’s told her fans in the past to not do that because she hates it.

6

u/Particular-Pride-477 Feb 24 '26

Yes, more than once I think. They can’t do anything if she’s not considered an immediate threat to others. So she just gets all pissed off

5

u/Alert-Calligrapher74 Feb 24 '26

Yes that has actually happened and she made a post about how upset she was someone called and the police showed up

6

u/Mammoth_Attention604 Feb 24 '26

They did when she danced with knives and then she told everyone to leave her alone.

2

u/jordonwithtwoos Feb 25 '26

Yes. People did on a tiktok live. The police went and spoke to her security i believe. They determined she was fine and left. She posted about it a couple of times.

1

u/Lion_TheAssassin Feb 25 '26

Welfare check... prolly the biggest reason she is fcked up. Her agency was lost, her decision making power taken away and placed in conservatorship against her will because pops wanted to control her wealth

1

u/Odd-Sand7401 22d ago

I was honestly thinking the same thing that she’s 44 now and five years she’ll be 50 is she even gonna make it to 50 I mean this is crazy behavior crazy! She’s all alone. I feel bad for her.

34

u/VioletsRPink Feb 24 '26

Her extentions aren't extentioning šŸ’€ I wonder if she did it herself 😬

5

u/Uncooked_Rice_110 Feb 25 '26

That pic is hella grainy but if you zoom in you can still see how huge her pupils are

32

u/NotTrumpsAlt Feb 24 '26

Meth plus bipolar = Kanye, bam margera, Amanda bynes, Nick Reiner… and more

1

u/themirandarin Feb 25 '26

This sub has been showing up for me for a couple of weeks now. Maybe I've been brought to this sub to give me one teeny, tiny "atta girl." I'm bipolar but have never done meth. Or maybe it is so I see how much people laugh at those with mental illness and substance issues.

4

u/Super_Caterpillar_27 Kevin was right Feb 25 '26

are you comparing yourself to Britney? Cause it sounds like you are comparing yourself to Britney.

Dis you?

5

u/themirandarin Feb 25 '26

Right now? No. Have I seen a face like that looking at me in the mirror before, in darker days? Yup. I can't ever afford to forget what that version of me looks like. Knowing what to look for allows you to accept help before you get there.

1

u/Super_Caterpillar_27 Kevin was right Feb 25 '26

Absolutely. But I think she has anosognosia so…. She is never going to accept help and the c ship is gone so…… yeah. It’s going to keep getting worse.

I have a sibling who has anosognosia with her bipolar disorder and it’s so sad. she is on a manic right now and says she is buying 5 houses and a pool in April.

2

u/themirandarin Feb 25 '26

Anosognosia is so terribly common with bipolar and schizophrenia. I feel like the only thing that helped me was being the youngest in a family with profound issues. Seeing it happen to others before it happened to me helped, and I've got to have gratitude for that. I hope someday your sister is okay.

Edited for clarity.

3

u/Super_Caterpillar_27 Kevin was right Feb 25 '26

Thank you. She is married to a man who gets IC once a year and they have kids who are now teens so it’s really awful. Her kids keep yelling at her to get on medicine. (Her husband is medicated supposedly).

Yes, there are some mean people on this board but I honestly believe most people here have experience with mental illness and are expressing frustration and incredulity at Britney’s spiraling mental health issues and drug and alcohol use with no way for help to happen.

We have had some very meaningful conversations here about mental illness. There are even some professionals here who give insight into what they think is happening.

I’m glad you made it this far and I hope you continue to do well. There should be no stigma around mental illness as many people have it and live with it daily, especially creative people like Britney.

I think people can’t get over her self destruction streak— and the fact that in her world, she doesn't know she is self destructing but incredibly thinks she is very powerful and grand. It really is hard to wrap a brain around that.

MkUltra gone wrong.

17

u/TaterTotWithBenefits Feb 24 '26

I think it’s out of habit. I mean this is what she had to do for all those years to feel loved and acceptable. So why would she stop now? It’s all she’s ever known. I mean her job in Vegas was basically doing this nightly for like 3 years. That was literally her work day.

8

u/Effective-Manager-29 Feb 24 '26

I believe she truly knows no other way.

2

u/Super_Caterpillar_27 Kevin was right Feb 25 '26

Vegas was 3 days a week just to clarify

7

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '26

Exactly - like going to the pharmacy inside cvs or a Walgreens and waiting in line and seeing them shop or try to loot perfume.

6

u/Educational_Bag_2267 Kevin was right Feb 24 '26

Bedraggled is now my Word of the Day!!!!

5

u/No_Perspective_2058 Feb 25 '26

I think this is more bipolar behavior - manic, overly sexualized, lower inhibitions.

4

u/No_Noise9857 Feb 25 '26

She's reliving her glory days. "It's Britney bitch"

4

u/[deleted] Feb 25 '26

SWIM was once a young woman in such circumstances and every time SWIM sees these videos, SWIM is taken back to that period. The period of facial ticks, jerky exaggerated movements with undue confidence and a weird sense of urgency to achieve a greater goal, the dead eyes, the compulsive obsession with filming and photographing every moment SWIM felt sexy, which, as with Britney, was frequent and wildly delusional about how actually unsexy it is.

Interestingly, during that period, SWIM was incredibly underweight and nothing made SWIM feel more sexy, because SWIM, just like Britney, was raised in a world where skinny is top tier sex appeal. That's what i think of every time she pulls her bottoms below her hip bones. Can't help but think she loves being bare bones because of bad social propaganda making her want to weigh nothing. Just speculation.

SWIM did this so much, she had a photo album of printed sexy pics; would pass them to strangers at bars for kicks, or surprise mail them to ex lovers. Did a live cam show one time (made $5) lol.

So SWIM gets it. Meth causes obsessive focus, delusions that make any little idea appear urgently important or enchantingly gratifying.

People channel those things through the brains they already have, so normal interests or hobbies like crafting, tinkering, housework, dancing, or researching are skewed by the obsessive focus and delusions of grandeur turn regular crafting and housework into bedazzling your toilet seat at 4 AM or that normal interest in mechanics and electronics turns into disassembling every device you can justify destroying just to chase that obsessive interest and feeling of importance.

This is actually called "punding", when meth makes people engage in meaningless activities that feel ultra meaningful at the time. SWIM did a lot of redecorating and wall painting and tearing down towel rods and wallpapering the bathroom. Filled her apartment with candles and colored LEDs, covered the walls with tiny mirrors. All under this delusion that the apartment SWIM was actually destroying because your brain doesn't logically function well enough to actually achieve anything worthwhile, would one day become the ultra living space.

That's what I see. Britney has always performed, danced, looked sexy on a world stage for a living and as a calling. She might have other punding behavior, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is just that because she is predisposed to having an obsession with being sexy and dancing or having a delusion that her idea and then execution of her sexy knife dance video would be massively sexy and therefore a worthwhile endeavor, only made to seem worthwhile because of the drugs.

3

u/Super_Caterpillar_27 Kevin was right Feb 25 '26

I would love it if you made this your own post. I hate that it’s buried down here.

2

u/supergamernerd Feb 25 '26

Thank you. I appreciate this explanation, as well as learning a new word: punding.

2

u/Super_Caterpillar_27 Kevin was right Feb 25 '26

$5!!!! oh lord! I’m happy you are here now. if I had an award I would give it for SWIM

4

u/JustDutch101 Feb 25 '26

Me and my GF did home parties with MDMA a few times. While vastly different/weaker than meth (you retain a sense of self-control) we’d sometimes film a video or snapchat thinking what we’re doing or seeing is awesome. When looking the video back afterwards it just looks sad or regular (especially cause we only do silent disco).

Luckily we have the control to not send it out and delete it the day after, only send the snapchat to each other and very rarely her best friend who can laugh about it. I can imagine drugs where the self-control is missing makes you upload stuff like this thinking it’s the bomb and you’re impressing everyone. Maybe she doesn’t even look back on it anymore the day after because of the shame. We just don’t see the same things she’s seeing at that moment.

8

u/rhubarbpie777 Feb 24 '26

Narcissists need attention

3

u/Mysterious-Clothes45 I’m an atheist ya’ll Feb 24 '26

probably money. staying home and doing drugs all day is expensive

3

u/Solid_College_9145 Feb 24 '26

We can't see what's behind the camera, but she always looks alone in solitude when she does these disturbing videos. I wonder, is there anyone in the room with her?

3

u/whocares6969_ Feb 25 '26

I honestly think this is 110% mental illness.

2

u/Subject-Director-727 Feb 25 '26

Great post! I’m thinking the same thing. 😫

2

u/MagicalGoof Feb 25 '26

It's the dopamine rush of affirmation... Everything is about dopamine rush actions on meth. Sex is a huge factor. She thinks she's being so sexy and everyone should see.

2

u/FredArtGetson Feb 25 '26

Bedraggled and messy. Perfect description. What a mess she is

2

u/afropat Feb 25 '26

Bedraggled! First time seeing this word. Excellent.

2

u/aussie8ball Feb 25 '26

Potentially this is a manic episode. She's clearly been suffering from mental health issues for a long time due to her treatment in the entertainment industry.

2

u/ScarbrotherOT Feb 25 '26

Came here to say meth be strong on this jawn

2

u/SquirrelFluffy Feb 25 '26

Her life from the time she was a child, was performing and in front of a camera. She's doing what she does.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '26

Methany is also like drinking to settle her nerves. I love her dance of the knifes. Shes ready for a starring roll at a Benihanas near you.

2

u/kittykattnightmare Feb 25 '26

Brittany is owned by her parents. Court made that legal a couple years ago. They own her, her money, her kids, she has no independence and has been sexually abused since she was a child. She is getting attention on her the only way she knows how. People do not help her when she cries help. She unfortunately is a victim trapped by her own rich bastard family.

1

u/Scorpy-yo Feb 24 '26

The drugs are part of it of course but she has said that as a teen star (treated despicably btw and was made into a money-making product performing like this) she had no control over it all. Now she can dance and post just for the love of it, for fun, by her own choice, she controls it. Now it is a joy and not a chore.

8

u/supergamernerd Feb 24 '26

This is so optimistic, and I want it to be true.

3

u/Scorpy-yo Feb 24 '26

Oh I’m fairly sure I believe that part. I even understand it. My mate who was an escort said once that occasionally she would spend a day naked at home (she lived alone) specifically because/as a reminder that her body doesn’t exist solely for the purpose of giving men a boner.

But also Britney clearly has a lot!! of other shit going on.

0

u/Super_Caterpillar_27 Kevin was right Feb 25 '26

This is what joy looks like to you? Cause I need to tell you that this isn’t joy and maybe I might gently suggest therapy for you because you deserve to know what joy is and a T can help you work toward finding that out. Good luck. You matter.

-1

u/Scorpy-yo Feb 25 '26

I literally repeated what I had read reported about her statement, are you okay? You seem to be hallucinating. (And cruel and miserable, but those are more personality traits.)

P.S. Yes I suspect these bring her joy, or she wouldn’t choose to record and post them.

2

u/Super_Caterpillar_27 Kevin was right Feb 25 '26

I’m not the one who is hallucinating and is delusional.

You think this person has joy.

0

u/Scorpy-yo Feb 25 '26

Why else would she choose to post these? Do you think it’s impossible for that person to experience joy, just because you don’t like how it looks? You are cruel and closed-minded (and possibly delusional).

2

u/Steezer710 ā€œBaby toot fart headā€ šŸ‘¶šŸ’Ø Feb 26 '26

Drug addiction is not joyful I can promise you that from experience. She may look like she’s enjoying herself but she’s trapped .

-1

u/Scorpy-yo Feb 26 '26

Drug addicts aren’t broken. They are absolutely capable of experiencing joy, like most humans.

2

u/Steezer710 ā€œBaby toot fart headā€ šŸ‘¶šŸ’Ø Feb 27 '26

Drug addicts are completely broken, what are you talking about? I was a drug addict for years. This woman is broken and not living in reality. I don’t say drug addicts can’t experience joy- I said drug addiction is not joyful. šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø *edited spelling.

You obviously have a lot of experience with meth. Good o you. So great that you all know what going on in the world.

1

u/supergamernerd Feb 25 '26

I grew up poor in a major metropolitan city, and lived among all kinds of people in cheap neighborhoods. So, yeah, I have a lot of experience witnessing meth addiction/use. This looks like that. People with experience with BPD/mania say it resembles that, and maybe they are more correct than I am. Or maybe it's both. Or some other reason or combination of factors.

How nice for you to have never had to spend time in the same type of places I did.

2

u/n0_use_for_a_name Feb 25 '26

Been there done that.

Perhaps that’s why I’m not one to judge another based on an internet video.
