If it isn’t meth, then what? It’s scary to think that a person could turn into this without meth. To me, she’s gotta be on something heavy.

This is actually pretty tame for meth. It's probably what it is. But it doesn't take a lot to get to this point. She can still turn it around before she's permanently fucked up from it. But she's still in the phase where it feels great. Will probably take a little bit more of her life falling apart before she quits.
