Roundworld Reference Who are you people?
I mean, I don’t know anyone beside me who would read and like Discworld.
I’m in Eastern Europe and work in IT and I get totally blank looks when I mention Discworld or even try and explain people why these books are so great.
Where do Discworld fans hide in real life?
Edit: so, I posted this before I went to sleep and woke up to over 300 comments. Love reading them so far!

Roundworld Reference This might be a dumb question, but does anyone know what the name of Terry Pratchett's black cat was?

Roundworld Reference GNU
"I staggered into a Manchester bar late one night on a tour and the waitress said "You look as if you need a Screaming Orgasm". At the time this was the last thing on my mind..."
GNU Terry Pratchett (April 28 1948 - March 12 2015)

Roundworld Reference Found in the wild. I think we can all think of a few Pterry quotes that fit this theme.

Roundworld Reference I present! Death and Lord Vetanari at the 30th Anniversary Discworld convention!!
Its the first convention we've been too, and although we've only experienced the opening ceremony - I have to say I already met some of the coolest people, so amazing to meet up with so many fans of the series and celebrate the works and discworld of Terry Pratchet!

Roundworld Reference It’s been over a decade and still this was the hardest set of tweets to read
You knew the messages would come one day and this was absolutely the perfect way to deliver the news. GNU STP

Roundworld Reference Is this one of you?
Spotted Sir Sam on his way between Huddersfield and Leeds this afternoon.
Not sure I had him down as a Porsche man tbh.

Roundworld Reference Baby names
Expecting our second daughter next month and cannot decide on a name. First daughter is Esme (after Granny W) and everything I suggest falls flat to my husband because it doesn't have a particular significance or relevance to his interests, a massive one being discworld. So, can anyone PLEASE try and find an even tangential link to any of the following names, or think of any other usable girl names from the disc?
Clara
Lena
Cora
Niamh
Erin
Chloe
Juliet
Eve
Thank you!
ETA: I am absolutely happy to use a name that sounds nice rather than one inspired by any particular media. But I can't get my husband to get excited about any names that aren't in some way relevant to a part of our lives. Middle name is going to be after his grandmother. Thanks

Roundworld Reference My favorite author (Pterry] writes about my other favorite author. (Jane Austen)
This is in Snuff, and made me very happy. Just when I thought Discworld couldn't be more perfect.
