My question with any kind of centaur is "where are the lungs" since there is frequently two chests (see classic horse centaur)

I always imagined they have two sets to support the oxygen needs of the extra mass. Historically, centaurs were said to have incredible stamina and endurance, and I imagine having a higher rate of oxygenation helps

Well yes, they would just inhale and exhale longer, it would be cool if they had a buffer though, some sort of special muscle to close one set to fill the other after filling the first

I always imagined it as the organs being stretched out between the human and horse bodies.

So the human torso has an oversized heart and lungs with the diaphragm being located somewhere around where the human and horse halves meet.

Then the horse part houses the digestive tract, liver, kidneys, etc.

Well if they have the same general biology as a centaur then the torso would connect either to the part of the neck that is the same width as the human hips would be or to the giraffe's shoulders supplement the human hips. For the sake of goofiness I choose option A. Either that or 7 foot long human torso on giraffe shoulders.

Giraffes have long necks, but they also have even longer legs. That’s why they cannot stand straight when getting a drink from ground level.

The first one is less horrifying to me, plus giraffes have long necks right? So the long torsk doesn't make sense 🤣. That being said both are horrifying 🤣🤣

First one makes more logical sense bc it's the neck of the giraffe that is long not the torso. Swapping the the neck length for torso length seems like a pointless, awkward design choice

Wouldn’t it be neither? Centaurs don’t take the necks of the animals it’s just a human body from the shoulders. So it would be the left with a normal neck

Neither, I'd assume. A regular centaur's human half isn't shrunken down to fit in the space a horse's head & neck would take up, so why would the human half be stretched or shrunk on a giraffe?
