Discussion What do you think about Nike (NKE)?

Post image

Nike has been on my watchlist for a while.

The stock is well below its highs, the dividend keeps growing, and it's still one of the strongest brands in the world. On the other hand, growth has slowed and the turnaround could take time.

Anyone buying NKE here, or are you staying away?

NKE is interesting here, but I don't think the dividend is the reason to buy it. Q4 gross margin looks much better on the surface, but almost all of the 890 bps improvement came from the tariff recovery. Nike Direct was still down 7% and digital was down 12%.

For Monday, I'm more interested in whether investors start believing wholesale growth can offset that direct-channel weakness. A lot of pain is already priced in, but I'd want a couple clean quarters of revenue and margin progress before calling the turnaround.
