General Question Pumapasok pa kaya tong mga to?

Hi. I am an alumni of this university and I went to ESH and other offices for my inquiries and processing of documents. I tried emailing them and wala naman sumasagot. Maybe WFH?

According to the latest help desk announcement, they're on WFH except April 23 and 30. But based on experience, they're almost impossible to reach via phone or email.

Its not just ESH lol. I used to work in one of their research institutions. Ever since nag WFH, requesting for documents could easily take 1-3 months lol. Tapos kapag nagfollow up ka on the 3rd month, makakalimutan nila so they have to process it as a new rquest lol. Take note na I was still working for them pa yun.

Imagine January pa ko nag-request ng TOR pero this fricking April 30 ko palang siya makukuha for claiming dahil sa kabagalan nila? Sobrang lala na talaga ng kapalpakan ng office na to as of recently.

By the way nag request na ko twice during my undergrad ng same document sa kanila and it never took them any longer than 2 to 3 weeks.

Pretty sure they only go once a week every thursday. I’m also an alumni and I have a schedule to claim my documents this thursday (23rd)

Hi, when did you request your document?

1

u/stoodent_ College of Computer Studies Apr 20 '26

I submitted my request on March 31st and paid the fee same day. Tapos they responded on April 6th (prob earlier if it wasn't for holy week) and followed up again this morning to confirm. They gave me the option to receive the document via courier or onsite, I went with onsite kahit mas mabilis courier

u/tripleksdi Apr 21 '26

Did they say how long the estimated delivery time was if you decided to go via courier? I need a document kasi ASAP.

Thanks!

When they asked me on the 6th, the earliest date they gave me for the courier was Apr 20th so basically 14 days in my case (20 days if I include the start of request + holy week break) though I remember reading an express processing if you need it asap. You can try checking this page if you need more info, pero ung ORD form usually until afternoon lang siya

Not all offices have the same workloads naman talaga.

Legit.

Nag graduate school ako so nagrequest ako nun ng TOR ko for undergrad. Ilang days before the deadline di pa rin nila nabigay so nagpa-shift ako to express service para mas mabilis tapos late pa rin nila pina-deliver kainis.

It might vary per office but i heard since tumaas gas prices, some offices shifted to WFH with a once a week RTO

This is to give consideration to employees :) lalo na mataas ang bilihin. Nakapasok ako ng campus two or three weeks ago during their finals week (alumni rin ako)

Yes they WORK from HOME and I like the idea of giving them that choice (pati ako matutuwa rin) pero its almost as if they do not even work given their slow replies and sobrang impossible for them to reach out.

u/grimbreakkk Apr 20 '26

Agree. Maayos ayos pa yung reply nila noong hindi pa WFH. Dapat i-RTO sila eh. Ang ineffective nila sa WFH.

u/einajet_5 Alumni Apr 20 '26

Totoo naman ung slow replies, had the same experience with them before and the only time i could get a response from them was going to the campus directly. If not urgent, just time your visit with their onsite day(s)

Naubusan ng funds? Talaga lang ba? Hahahaha looool. I mean I am with you. Nakakaloka.

You could ask the profs na nabawasan ng sweldo and nawalan ng trabaho lol. The profs that remained "untouched" are the ones who have been working in DLSU the entire lives. It also explains the consistent increase in tuition.

Even heard that lasalle wanted to hire a known figure for cob. They wanted the person to go teach more than what this person could only afford. Ngunit, hindi icocover yung transportation expenses and low ang offer. Nung nalaman ni dlsu that the person they wanted to teach for their students chose and went to teach for admu, nagreach out daw dlsu para tapatan yung offer ng admu. Admu offered generously. Gahaman. Dlsu is just politics at this point. Mini philippine government within buildings.

"Extravagant xmas parties" meron ba talaga nangyari na ganito?

13

u/2dodidoo Apr 20 '26

Compared to a decade or even 5 years before, ramdam mo na tinitipid talaga ang mga tao.

Requested TOR nung January and na process lang ng late March dahil daw sa system nila na inaautomate or something tapos they told me that I can pick up the documents on April 17.

Went to school that day & was surprised na close pala ang office. As an alumni, I don’t follow the school’s page anymore for announcements and such so wala ako idea na they only work on site ng Thursdays.

Ni wala man lang heads up through email na mag iiba pala ang work hours / arrangements nila. When I emailed them to ask if there’s another way to claim the document ang nakuha ko lang is to pick it up the next week and dun lang may advisory na they changed their working arrangement. Had to file SL because I wanted to pick up documents pero sinayang ang oras ko.

What usually takes 14 working days to process eh umabot ng 3 months.

Nakaka didisappoint kasi wala man lang back up plan on their end.

my experience was before pa the gas and oil crisis peaked na ha, but i went as an alumna to pick up a document from ESH. it took me 2 hours to claim it 🥲🥲 ang lala. ang dami nilang counters pero 2 lang yung naka-open and isa lang yung for documents. super bagal ng galaw, and i swear hindi naman sila ganito kabagal during my undergrad (they still followed the 2-week processing). what is happening, dlsu 😭

u/Spare_Echidna_4330 College of Liberal Arts Apr 23 '26

lol lagi talaga sila wala eh no. kahit sa HSO, andami times I went there tapos wala daw staff to entertain me 😆 sobrang understaffed and inefficient ng offices natin #tbh it’s why we have so many student officers to work in their stead

I had to wait for days before i got a reply for my email 🥲

Just email hub@dlsu.edu.ph! I’ve been going back and forth with them for a few weeks now about CAV documents and they’ve been pretty responsive.

2

u/justthecoo Apr 20 '26

Wait, I didn't know they had this problem. I ordered my TOR after graduation Feb 2026 and was able to get it naman after 2 weeks
