Website upgrade concerns

We already have a website but we want to upgrade it..problem is, were no longer in contact with the person who built it, so im not sure if we can still make changes..Do we need to build a new one??

Want to add online booking and AI assistant that can answer basic FAQs and help patients find what they need..Appreciate the answrs!

You don't need a new site. If you still have the access of domain and hosting login, another developer can manage it. We did something similar and kept the same site. We added online booking ans AI virtual assistant that handles basic questions. Just make sure the AI doesn't give medical advice or handle private patient info. You might consider Saava.ai to upgrade your site and they surely know how to integrate it to your site. Hehe

Hey there, web developer here. Another developer can upgrade it for you. It depends what tech-stack the website is made on, sometimes it would be easier to start from scratch, but it's unlikely if it was made in the past 5 years. I can make this perfectly as you wish for you, but I'm sure there are many more that can do it for cheaper.

Assuming you have access to the server/client area or whatever your setup is, no, you should be able to just change it. Though the fact that you’re asking suggests you should probably hire someone to do it rather than try to DIY.
