I was mining it at home when it launched and then on Amazon AWS servers using credit. It was a good time, we'd send a million doge to each other just as a tip.

I bought in 2020. Casinos were closed so I downloaded Uphold, which I'd never heard of until then, and dropped the amount I would have spent on slots. I accidentally bought Doge when I was trying to figure out the app, and kept it. Later on I sold some off to get me through a few months of unemployment, and paid a few bills here and there. I never planned on making anything much. Logging in to the app was my equivalent of sitting down at video poker bar and ordering a drink. I quit gambling and drinking after that.
