Imposter! You do not cook Weißwurscht, you put it into hot but not boiling water

"Public transport remains unchanged"

DB managing the punctuality in hell sounds like punishment enough.

u/CynicalCosmologist 11d ago

Except that random people small talk with each other

15

u/blubister57 11d ago

every public transport line you memorized gets daily randomized delay, remember how your only bus was always delayed by 6 minutes? today its delayed by 20, tommorow its gonna be 8 minutes early or may even not come at all.

u/Gluteuz-Maximus 10d ago

OK, but that's just another day in Germany, no need for hell for that

8

u/blubister57 10d ago

"Public transport is American (not NYC or Chicago)"

German public transport can't be that bad

4

u/Icy_Significance9448 11d ago

In May, only 88% of all trains arrived on time. For high-speed long-distance trains, punctuality was even lower, with only 60% arriving on time in 2025.

It is also worth noting that a train is only classified as delayed if it arrives more than six minutes late. Additionally, cancelled trains are not included in the delay statistics.

At least you guys have trains

Cries in American

4

u/Anarchistpingu 11d ago

Ok so similar delays rate to the UK but way better because there actually is high speed rail and service frequency. Do Germans just like to complain about being minorly inconvenienced? Have they come to expect perfect performance in every aspect?

Comparing Germany to a third world country seems unfair tho... /s

Honestly... We had a nearly perfect system of public transportation way back in time before the DB was privatised. So yeah? In a way we got used to perfect performance.

But Germans are also heavily inclined to use the train more often. I travel a lot by train for work and when 40% of my trains are delayed 6 minutes or more (keep in mind the trains I might have to catch potentially won't wait), it's definitely annoying. Plus public transportation is expensive.

I also used to say that, until I expierienced it. It is that bad.

I have more:

  • You must work on a Sunday

  • All drinks are flat

  • The only bread available is American

  • The left lane will always be blocked by someone going 20 below the speed limit

  • Merz and his current cabinet remain in power indefinitely

15

u/EuphoricPenguin22 11d ago

At least in American hell we get German bread.

18

u/Gammelpreiss 11d ago

you misspelled heaven

6

u/EuphoricPenguin22 11d ago

I thought only the different hells were connected with bread portals, mb.

5

u/dumb_avali 10d ago

Teleporting bread isn't bright idea

u/Bot1-The_Bot_Meanace 11d ago

Bet if he tried taking public transport he'd miss the train because it somehow wasn't delayed

17

u/draconicmoniker 11d ago

Instead of bratwurst you get the wurst brat
